  • Big, tough, and ready to punch you in the mouth, Derrick Coleman ain’t here to play around on this week’s episode of Knuckleheads with Quentin Richardson and Darius Miles. DC gets it crackin’ early, talking about growing up in Detroit and how quickly he knew he was the best. He touches on Syracuse, what it’s like to be one of the greatest in school history, and explains why he stayed all four years. Then we get to the league, coming in early and dominating at a tough position. DC looks back on his time with the Nets, how great it was playing with Kenny Anderson, and he laughs about being one of the few people to posterize Shaq. DC has no problem saying Dream Team II is the best Dream Team - and you just may be swayed! Later on the guys get into the incredible social work Derrick is doing for Michigan and how he’s trying to make an impact on future generations.”From the ghetto to the gold medal,” DC brings the heat!

Getting 20 & 10 in the NBA is HARD, and doing it with a subpar work ethic is even harder. If he really hard that motor/drive, he could've been like, freaky, scary good.

Yo Yo Yo Derrick Coleman thanks guys been looking forward to this one.. I been a fan of his since his days at Syracuse . A lefty PF that could handle the ball, play make for others , shoot from the outside , kill dudes in the post and would give everybody that work . I get into debates with people every time I speak on how dope of a player he was and He would kill in this modern NBA.. fun fact he one of the few players that can lay claim to have Dunked Shaq. Salute DC the OG #Knuckleheads

I appreciate the camaraderie and respect the NBA players, both and past and present, show each other regardless of age or era. It’s very cool.

One of the most genuine interviews I've seen in a long time. The format and style of their podcast make it feel like you just choppin it up with your homies after back-to-back full court wins. Plus DC is a real cat.
