Sheed was the final piece to Detroit's championship puzzle. One if the greatest mid-season trades in NBA history. Gasol to the Lakers is another one.

@@dennisjr77 The funny thing is Sheed was not 100% in the playoffs..We had a super deep bench that year! When Sheed was healthy with Mike James, Lindsey Hunter, Ben Wallace, and then enter anyone else.. teams could not even bring the ball up the court!

When I heard Sheed was a Piston I was listening to sports radio breaking news on I-94 driving from Detroit Metro Airport where I was working at the time with straight basketball and football heads (all we talked was NBA and NFL..there were 3 Lakers fans among us, everybody else Pistons).
I immediately called the job and told them and the next day we talked NON-STOP about the Pistons chances and all throughout that 2004 playoff run including those scares with the Nets and Pacers... damn that was a good spring.
Q has done a great job of improving and making his questions clear and precise, the flow is there.
