The 1903 Springfield 30 06 Rifle, if that was used, then, I believe it"
Or the M1c or M1D scoped.
That would be sharp shooter! More than sniper
lol, it was fascinating for the time!
@@HistoricalCombatHQ my father was a fully trained ww2 sniper !
Invisible or dead ☠️ on enemy or between lines ! With Hitlers orders that no sniper could be taken prisoner.
Most snipers not involved in wide range battlefield, with pair adversary ! Most since have been ether no combat or superior / large advantage side
@@HistoricalCombatHQ actually the Russian invasion of Ukraine, has probably got more battlefield action, Snipers in full pair adversary conditions, since ww2 ‘ not good for your intestines! Apparently. Life long troubles with the toilet 🚽!
Upto Two hours to have a crap 💩! That’s a lot of time down the bog
That’s a Real snipers work hazard.
@@robertwoodroffe123 any chance you can say that again using grammar we can understand?
AI? Who was the officer?
you have to re-watch it to find out!
The video has absolutely nothing to do with the narration. I can't even identify those uniforms.
I am new at making these videos. They will get better with time! Subscribe to watch this work in progress!
cmon. facts please?
you want ww2, or war history facts in general? let me know and ill make them! thanks for the comment and like!
@@HistoricalCombatHQ No; you got it wrong. Matthäus Hetzenauer (December 23, 1924 in Tyrol, Austria - October 3, 2004) was a German sniper in the 3rd Mountain Division on the Eastern Front of the World War II, who was credited with 345 kills. His longest confirmed kill was reported at 1100 metres.
Hetzenauer trained as a sniper from March 27 through July 16, 1944, before being assigned to the 3rd Gebirgsjäger Division, issued both a K98 rifle with 6x scope and a Gewehr 43 rifle with 4x scope.
1100 meters is 1202 yards; making this fall short by AT LEAST 100 yards if you are sticking to the "over 1000 yards"
This is what he meant by facts. Actual facts. This guy has a wiki page with cited references and your guy doesn't.. And even if he did it fell short.. I'd make a new one about Mr. Hetzenauer :) and rename this one longest apocryphal american sniper kill during ww2 xD
@@HistoricalCombatHQ"I'll make them." Yeah, you'll make them up.
@@tazman5722 Anyway, thanks for the awesome feedback! I will make sure to use none of it though.
Click bait
How is it click-bait? It's literally a story of the longest shot.
@HistoricalCombatHQ The only place that the story exists is in your puny little brain.
