"How would Clough deal with Ronaldo?".
"He'd now be buried somewhere in the Nevada desert, Jim!", was the answer that Martin carefully re-worded.

    • @theinngu5560

Or how would AF deal with him? …entirely different. He coaxed CR and understood his sensitivities and treated Wayne Rooney in a different way that suited his temperament. People deal with things they way they do and pointless to compare how a different manager would have dealt with it. I guess CR was pretty fed up to go to these lengths and no doubt unskillful behaviour on both sides. I don’t think spilling the beans publicly ever does much good but genuinely feel for CR ..it’s such a shame after all he did for MUFC that it has come to this.

How would Alex Fergusson have dealt with Ronaldo. Well we know what happened with Roy Keane and he was the captain and wasn't half as venomous as Ronaldo about the team, club, management. United should tear up his half a million a week contract and pay off all the season ticket holders electric bill for the winter with his one weeks pay.

What's wrong with all of you?Why do you all hate Ronaldo?Because he's not English or British? What has Ronaldo said that we all don't already know?
That the Glazers don't care about United?Doesn't the whole world already know this?Haven't there been demonstrations calling on the Glazers to sell up?Haven't United stood still since Fergie retired and don't we all already know this?Don't we all know that Ten Hag and Ronaldo don't respect each other? What's new at all about what Ronaldo has been saying and the whole country is up in arms calling for his head? All down to jealousy, envy laced with racism. All because Ronaldo is not English or British, that's all World the English press have pounced mercilessly on Harry Kane or any other top player if he had been the one involved?Anything and everything Ronaldo is saying is already known by all of us and it's the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. What's wrong with the English people?Blowing things out of all
proportion just to sensationalise it for the stupid tabloids.Has Ronaldo killed someone?Sheer jealousy and racism.

Well, you've got one thing correct, what Ronaldo has said is not something that is not known already and yes, the tabloids love to blow their gutter journalism out of proportion purely to sell papers. However, that is true in every country in the world as far as the press are concerned.
So as far as I and many I know are concerned we are not bothered one iata at what Ronaldo has to say so please stop short in saying the whole country because you have nothing factually to back uo that statement, ut is no more than a lazy sweeping statement from yourself.
What I really find irritating in your words is your accusation on more than one occasion that this is all down to the English being racist! How dare you again make such a sweeping and damming accusation. All you are doing is highlighting a raciast issue where there is none which is in itself racism from yourself. If it was the case then I would be the first to agree with you but making ill informed accusations belies all credibility to your words. Generally when a player, manager or those involved within the game keep their grievances within the dressing room and not wash their dirty linen in public which in this case Ronaldo has. That is more the issue here rather than your accusations of racism.

Respect to Ronaldo but his assessment of our new manager displays selfishness 💯💯. He's always been tho through his career, yes it has brought him results but the teams then were clearly progressing so it wasn't an issue. Martin O'Neill is 100% right. Brian Clough wouldn't have stood for that level of petulance and neither would the likes of Bill Shankly or Bob Paisley or their coaching staff. You have to remember Bob Paisley had two rottweilers on his coaching staff in Smoking Joe Fagan and Bugsy Moran. Step out of line and both would make your life a living nightmare. Even the Prince of put-downs Kenny Dalglish was as tough. In 1985 he nailed Phil Neal to a wall for refusing to address him as boss. He destroyed Alex Ferguson in 1988 with the king of all put-downs, he said my 6 week old daughter speaks more sense than him.
