@@stephaniegeorge I used to work at a brain injury facility and it is proven that even the worst cases, they know what’s happening in their surroundings. I’m not an expert but worked with those who were. Love is the greatest commandment.

I appreciate you making this video about the misconceptions of raising a challenged child in this world. I grew up with a foster sister who was mentally and physically challenged from a car accident that happened the day her parents brought her home from the hospital after having her. We could always tell what emotions she was feeling, yes it was demanding even on me and my 2 older sisters growing up. We helped as much as we could and even had to deal with the abuse from others saying nasty things about us and our sister. She sadly passed away just after her 21st birthday from a very nasty chest infection. We all miss and love her dearly. Not a day goes by that I’m not grateful for her being in my life and showing me what love truly means.

Hi! You're videos are very helpful. I remember when my daughter was born and diagnosed with Cornelia De Lange syndrome. I was quite worried about her quality of life and life expectancy. She lives in a group home for disabled adults. Some people have said we should keep her with us. Nicole is pretty capable of functioning on her own physically. As I said, she's fully verbal and functions at about a 12 year old level. She's 35. Her main issues are emotional and Behavior problems. She is the only person in her Apartment, and has 24/7 care. We see her often and talk to her on the phone at least 5 times a day! She loves to talk on the video call. It's important to know CDLS has many varying degrees. Sébastien is adorable and obviously SO well loved !! I'm really excited to actually be able to see another CDLS family. Thank you and God bless!🥰 I was going to ask if you ever attend the CDLS conferences? I tried to take Nicole once a few years back, but..she didn't like it. She is very fixated on being disabled. She has a great difficulty accepting it.

I think he’s adorable. It’s obvious that he is happy and cognizant of what’s going on around him. When you see that sweet, funny and sometime goofy smile when he’s happy, there’s no doubt that can distinguish what’s happening and the degrees to which he likes it. He’s just wonderful. And so are you guys, his parents, too.
I just found your channel the other day while looking in my recommended videos . One thing I do know is this world has so many cold hearted people, they say things that someone should never say or even think . Your baby is precious, I've only seen about 3 of your videos and each one of them he's happy and smiling and the love both you and your fiance show him is absolutely beautiful. Anyone can tell he's happy , well taken care of , I haven't seen his face show pain , your precious baby is a blessing and no one has the right to say the things they have to you about him . My grandson just turned 1 and is special needs as well , he was born with severe hydrocephalus, hypsarrithmia, West Syndrome, epilepsy, Nystagmus, after his shunt surgery he was diagnosed with NLP , he just went through a Hemispherectomy the beginning of June and is healing so well . He's 1 now and is still does therapy 's 3 times a week. We're having to start all progress over since the Surgery and hopefully he gets the strength to hold his head up. I know how cruel people can be , how they say things that are just all out cold hearted. I know one girl was comparing her baby to my grandson and told us , what do you mean he can't hold his head up or sit yet , things like that .Then proceeds to show her daughter is walking . Just because a precious baby has special needs , doesn't mean their less human , in my eyes they're the bravest most beautiful humans around . Sending you hugs from my family to yours 🌹

I had a special needs cousin (hydrocephalus,) & her head was as big as an adults head when she was born. She had to wear a football helmet throughout her life, she passed away at 35 I believe, but was only given 2 weeks to live! She showed all the experts that she lived to be in her 30’s & lived a great life! I also have a 35 yr old nephew who is special needs. He has Asperger‘s disease, he also has ADHD, & a couple of more things I can’t recall atm! He’ll be living with his parents the rest of his life, but he has a job at Walmart so that’s awesome! I love & see the joy, happiness & love Sebastian has. If you’re trying to special-needs people, with me growing up with two of them, it makes you see things other people can’t notice. Hello just came across this video. Congratulations on being good parents. Me and my wife have three children. Our youngest Alice is a special needs child and it can be very tough but also rewarding. She is 12 and it's been a joy caring and loving her. The tough part is we have no family help but we have each other. Alice is so happy and very outgoing. Hi! You're videos are very helpful. I remember when my daughter was born and diagnosed with Cornelia De Lange syndrome. I was quite worried about her quality of life and life expectancy. She lives in a group home for disabled adults. Some people have said we should keep her with us. Nicole is pretty capable of functioning on her own physically. As I said, she's fully verbal and functions at about a 12 year old level. She's 35. Her main issues are emotional and Behavior problems. She is the only person in her Apartment, and has 24/7 care. We see her often and talk to her on the phone at least 5 times a day! She loves to talk on the video call. It's important to know CDLS has many varying degrees. Sébastien is adorable and obviously SO well loved !! I'm really excited to actually be able to see another CDLS family. Thank you and God bless!🥰
I was going to ask if you ever attend the CDLS conferences? I tried to take Nicole once a few years back, but..she didn't like it. She is very fixated on being disabled. She has a great difficulty accepting it.

I just love that this content helps ppl see into the life of your precious children and it brings awareness. I was looking into what his name means and it was saying “revered” like to revere with awe and devotion. I think he’s adorable. It’s obvious that he is happy and cognizant of what’s going on around him. When you see that sweet, funny and sometime goofy smile when he’s happy, there’s no doubt that can distinguish what’s happening and the degrees to which he likes it. He’s just wonderful. And so are you guys, his parents, too.
I just found your channel the other day while looking in my recommended videos . One thing I do know is this world has so many cold hearted people, they say things that someone should never say or even think . Your baby is precious, I've only seen about 3 of your videos and each one of them he's happy and smiling and the love both you and your fiance show him is absolutely beautiful. Anyone can tell he's happy , well taken care of , I haven't seen his face show pain , your precious baby is a blessing and no one has the right to say the things they have to you about him . My grandson just turned 1 and is special needs as well , he was born with severe hydrocephalus, hypsarrithmia, West Syndrome, epilepsy, Nystagmus, after his shunt surgery he was diagnosed with NLP , he just went through a Hemispherectomy the beginning of June and is healing so well . He's 1 now and is still does therapy 's 3 times a week. We're having to start all progress over since the Surgery and hopefully he gets the strength to hold his head up. I know how cruel people can be , how they say things that are just all out cold hearted. I know one girl was comparing her baby to my grandson and told us , what do you mean he can't hold his head up or sit yet , things like that .Then proceeds to show her daughter is walking . Just because a precious baby has special needs , doesn't mean their less human , in my eyes they're the bravest most beautiful humans around . Sending you hugs from my family to yours 🌹

I had a special needs cousin (hydrocephalus,) & her head was as big as an adults head when she was born.
She had to wear a football helmet throughout her life, she passed away at 35 I believe, but was only given 2 weeks to live!
She showed all the experts that she lived to be in her 30’s & lived a great life!
I also have a 35 yr old nephew who is special needs.
He has Asperger‘s disease, he also has ADHD, & a couple of more things I can’t recall atm!
He’ll be living with his parents the rest of his life, but he has a job at Walmart so that’s awesome!
I love & see the joy, happiness & love Sebastian has. If you’re trying to special-needs people, with me growing up with two of them, it makes you see things other people can’t notice.

Hello just came across this video. Congratulations on being good parents. Me and my wife have three children. Our youngest Alice is a special needs child and it can be very tough but also rewarding. She is 12 and it's been a joy caring and loving her. The tough part is we have no family help but we have each other. Alice is so happy and very outgoing. Sorry for rambling but I understand all what y'all go through.
