We as audience don’t know how it was in 83, we don’t even know how it was at 90’s.
Cricket fans of 83 are seniors who are high risk and not going to theaters because of corona. Otherwise this would have been one of the great experiences for them, so nostalgic.

Calm down guys, he is not looking sideways to remember the names of people from different industries. He is just trying to remember all the movies he has seen and all the artists and humans when they are trying to remember look in all directions. He is usually such an animated person so do you think he will sit still and stare into the screen directly all the time. Why are you all trying to shit on him. He is in fact taking time and answering all the questions that BR is asking. And some questions are real stupid like “ generically what do you think is the difference between Bombay industry and southern industries” 1. He has never worked in the southern industries to answer that knowledgeably yet he gave a good answer 2. Why is BR lumping all the southern industries into one entity when Tamil cinema is different than telugu which is different than Malayalam and kannadiga so on. If you ask such stupid snooze worthy questions and then the idiots here are shitting on Ranveer for looking here and there. Have you all just gone mad. BR is overrated. Sometimes he will ask intelligent questions but this time he seemed unprepared. And he asked another question which was insulting saying of course you got Kapil Dev externally through make up and prosthetic but he failed to add that RS also got Kapil Dev internally like another skin. If you don’t compliment an artist on what he has been able to do then how do you expect him to answer it thoughtfully and RS still respectfully answered it. BR is completely overrated and if you know you know.

When BR asked about makeup and prosthetics adding to the acting process, Ranveer veered away from actually answering to that question which is very Bollywood of him as I feel actors in Bollywood dont like sharing credit with others who are equally part of the process in making a performance seem larger than life and yet realistic..
Not taking away from the fact that Ranveer is brilliant but I have often seen Bollywood actors and actresses being a bit egoistic when it comes to sharing credit...
When makeup is good even then the actors make it about themselves like ohhh i had to sit in that for 3-4 hours daily that is really brave of me😅

Ranveer said he can't relay only on makeup and physical look ...he had to do extra work observing.. interviewing and understanding the spiritual mindest of Kapil Dev to do the character ... Ranveer didn't deny the make up artisit's credits .. he should get credits too
