OMG you managed to put something into words that is so easy to unterstand when you are feeling it yourself yet so hard to make other people understand.

I've never actually thought of identifying as anything other than female. I'm biologically female and this makes my life pretty easy (save for the everyday problems everyone experiences regardless of gender). I found your channel rather by accident but it has been eye opening. I'm an open minded and accepting person but I feel I could easily make social faux pas with people whom are non binary. It wouldn't be intentional but your videos are truly educational and helping me to be a better person in general and especially to people who don't fit the 'usual labels'. I've subscribed 😊

This is so important, especially the breakdown of social vs personal.

    How did you DO that

Awesome insight. I have to work that into my own approach. I'm non-binary but on a path that's indistinguishable from a MtF TS with the one exception of *I'm not a woman.* And I do get a lot of questions about wouldn't it be easier for me to just be a trans woman? And it's true it would be easier on a social level. I've been struggling on why it just doesn't work for me, and I think you nailed it. My fight so far has been to become myself, not to dive into a new closet. I choose me. Great thought. Thanks.

you're cute. Also I relate to the androgynous stuff. Born with female parts but I only really look like it if I put on makeup and feminine clothing which I rarely feel like doing. My gender always confuses me but I guess I'm demigirl at this point although sometimes I feel like neither female nor male. And it's been hard for me because I feel like I relate to almost no one.

I understand this, but for some reason I did the exact opposite thing. I came out as a trans guy because I didn't want to have to explain my gender every time I came out. And...I just thought people would take me more seriously? I'm still in high school, so even coming out as binary trans is problematic, but I thought I'd not make my life harder than it has to be. I'm generally comfortable being called he, and I want to go through your average ftm transition, so I thought, why not? It's kinda sad that I had to do that, but for right now, that's much easier for me. It really just depends on the person I suppose. :)

I really want to say how much I could relate to this explanation. I'm a non-binary person myself with a genderfluid experience and I sort of struggle with this on an everyday basis too - should I dress feminine and be mistaken for a cisgender woman (I don't feel comfortable with passing when I dress feminine because my non-binary identity sort of becomes invisible at that) or should I present myself more masculine (you might say more androgynous since I presenting more masculine sorta balance the traditional anatomical features of a woman that I have). Since the experience of my gender switches back and forth a lot then it's hard to sort of enjoy myself for who I am when the world constantly gets confused about my presentation.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts in this video! You're awesome and I always enjoy your content:)

Personal or social. The reality is that chromosomes stay the same, xx or xy. Accepting the objective truth makes the other two far more easier to navigate.

I searched CZcams for the letter "a" then filtered for "last hour", that is how I got here.
I have legitimate insights and unique perspectives regarding this subject, but I don't think you or your audience would be receptive to my input. I am assuming that, I do not know that. I don't think many people in America are really open to ideas outside their own media bubbles, this attitude is dangerous because it leads to extremism. Thanks for uploading.

100% hit it on the mark. I finally got tired of social ease at the greater cost to my personal ease. I got cannabis to smoke to let me shrug off the social stigmatization people might throw my way. I'm tired of hiding who I am from everyone even myself.
So I chose personal ease and am gonna go out loud and proud about who I am.
