She sang from her home as she just recently had surgery - removing of her gallbladder! So she was not able to travel. Still a amazing performance 🎉🎉😊😊👍👍❤️❤️
...and she has to rehearse for the two virtual shows at the end of the month.
It wasn't removal of bladder, but the 15 stones she had. Check her most recent fan friday video. There she says it.

@@janihaavisto79 as far as I know if you want to get rid of the stones the bladder comes out. I had the same years ago. It's not really important..what matters is that she is getting stronger every day☺️
@@janihaavisto79 - I doubt they would leave the gallbladder in if it had that many stones. I didn't have ANY stones, but my gallbladder wasn't working properly so they took it out, laproscopically.
I love how she starts static, not moving, and then adds body and hands movement later. She tells story even with her body, she is amazing.

EuFlooriaaa...! Floor changes everybody's plans. But in a good way, because this is a Masterpiece. And she's just recovering from a surgery 😳 (That's why she was at home). Imagine her being well 😱.
Floor was asked to sing this for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest to highlight passed winners of the competition and this was the song that won in 2012, but she couldn't travel because she is still recovering from having her gallbladder removed so the Bestes Zangers people decided she could do it from her home studio rather than leave her out! They organised this and this was the result!! ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!

Floor has always such juicy choices of how she sings and performs. She's such a thinker and performer.

Floor is amazing, seeing and hearing her sing gives you such an energy and love boost and I can't get enough of it. She's recovering from surgery (that's why she couldn't be at the studio in person) and still blows you away with this incredible performance. Unbelievable.

I must confess, I hate the eurovision song contest. In my eyes, this is a political farce. And I did not know the original knowingly (maybe I have already heard but forgotten. Because mainstream stuff) BUT: as soon as the name Floor Jansen and cover appears, all alarm bells ring with me! Good work. Keep it up. Like you :)

Another lovely, heartfelt reaction, and I agree with all you say. As Tim Akkerman said after Floor's performance of Winner, in Beste Zangers...'Damn, Floor'!
She's done it again, with another stunning cover. It's not only the quality of her covers, it's the song choices, too. She keeps coming up with surprises. At this rate, it won't be long until Floor has enough covers to release them all in an album. Now that would be worth having.
I didn't know the original song, and neither had I watched her version yet. It's a dance track originally, didn't expect that haha. Though now I see some of the clues in Floor's version that it's that kind of song originally. I enjoy 'em both in each of their ways :) Just visually speaking for a sec - the colour composition is great here, Floor's wearing all black clothes, ebony stained wood with light coming through the cracks sharing the same colour palette as her hair, even her eyes, earrings and tattoos matching with the green mic. And the golden sunrays shining through the wood matching the golden mic top matching the euphoric theme. Combining that with both her cape and hair waving in the wind and her embracing, floating, powerful, distinct gestures - all that alone is already great, but then comes the music with all its grandeur! :D
I agree that she really kind of makes each song "her own" it seems, like she's singing everything with such genuine heartfeltness :) Even when she's covering songs that I'd think wouldn't seem to fit her that well she can transform them in a way that's new, interesting and true to herself basically, I think.
And I like and smile at the fact that this wasn't a planned video, just you seeing new stuff from Floor on YT being like "Oh this reaction happens now. It's happening now and it's called setting priorities."

She's recovering from surgery and have a virtual concert with Nightwish the 28 of May, so she couldn't take the risk to do the trip to Netherlands as expected. That's why she sung from her studio.

This is also my favorite Eurosong festival song and I was SO excited when this video pooped up on my radar. I was about to go to sleep. Well, you can imagine I cpuld not wait AND could not really go to sleep afterwards from excitement XD It took me like 1,5 hour before I was calm enough to truely go to sleep xD CHILLS!

Ahhhh I've been waiting for your reaction to this. As a singer, I cannot imagine coming out of surgery and two weeks later even ATTEMPTING to sing anywhere near my norm.

Oh FINALLY. I've watched many reactions on this today but you're the first person who actually knew the original before listening to Floor's version. Great to watch someone react who can actually make that comparison.
I personally think Euphoria was one of the best winner songs so far in Eurovision, but for me is was always lacking something really special.
Floor's rendition solved this little issue perfectly. Like you said, her build-up is incredible and hits much better than in the original (I think). I love her emotion, her gestures, her crystal clear articulation (first time I ever could HEAR the lyrics), and the guitars just make it even more powerful than it already was.
Can we also appreciate the background singers who are nailing their part as well?
Side note: My first reaction was quite similar to yours, I too teared up a little from being overwhelmed by awesomeness. ♥
Whenever you'd think Floor can't get ANY better than her last cover, she just comes and does lol. Gotta love this person. She also gave the ENTIRE Goddess vibe in this video. Her outfit, her facial expression, gestures, power, just everything.

I've heard this several times since Floor released it and every time I'm mesmerised by her and her voice as we usually are. I get goosebumps and chills when I listen and watch but the last time, and this time, like you, it got me and tears appeared. It seems to get more powerful every time you hear it.

First time I hear this voice, the beautiful voice. Every time I listen to the reaction of Sabina. The first time I make this camparasion.
If u read more closely, this is beste zangers 2021, Floor couldn't be there in person because she had 15 Goldstones accumulated, and had that surgery just recently. So BestenZangers brought production to her so she could this virally. Orchestra is live in where others are too. So lot of talent all around, and tells how much they look up to Floor's performances.

Apparently, Floor's gall bladder already has its own agent. FGB (Floor's Gall Bladder) can already out-sing every other gall bladder on the planet.
