The most Delicious Matoke Curry you will Have

- In this video I demonstrate how to make a delicious non meat dish that Kenyans love but I've made it a little differently by adding flavour from the improved curry powder from Tropical Heat and some peanut butter which make the dish rich and wholesome. You can skip the peanut butter if you don't have some or like it and maybe use some coconut cream instead or skip it all together.
I hope you will like my version of the dish when you try it at home, let me know by commenting below.

Peeling with your hands saves the white inside part of the banana not go to waste than cutting with a knife.

How do you make them with beef?
My mum would tell you 'unatemerera' io matoke😁😁
Great stuff tho always👍
Haha, he should have peeled with his hands...and later wash with salty water...🥰
@@franxk3228 and Miss Wanjohi, i am not very fluent in kiswahili but with 'unatemerera' i can guess you are saying you have waist a lot of banana while peeling with knive , ahaha. We do have similar expression in kirundi. Funny as well.
👍

Do you the usual peanut butter( the one for spreading )to cook?,,ama kuna ya kupika ?
I think he used the usual
Why do you add peanut butter please explain why
Makes it thicker
Never add salt before the bananas cook and are tender. Adding salt earlier makes them hard.
Is he using peanut butter the one we spread on bread or is their another kind of cooking peanut butter, please answer me if you know
@@Quilant749 It's the same peanut butter we use for spreading on bread
But if I boil matooke at same time with sail,it majes them hard.
Chef I request you cook for us pasta
Is this gentleman married? Asking for a friend.
That's too much garlic and curry powder for such a small meal
Does that tropical heat SH1T contain MSG ? If so , that's poison
There is (NO MSG)
