More like, Actress: how much over the top action do you want?

That's basically the gist of Matthew Reilly's books.
I think She and Chris Hemsworth will be a badass pairing in any action movie.
She have the potential that suits and match Chris in an Action movie.
They definitely make a great pair.
What is a Woman?

The fact that Matthew Reilly is directing this is gold! His novels are by far some of the best action thrillers, and this looks promising.

What she did with one arm in the end was ridiculous
Took some inspiration from Fast and Furious stunts
ridiculous
If only she'd actually done it.
She just kept it moving remembering her father's words of motivation. You would be surprised at the strength of a woman willing to fight to the end against her enemy or enemies. You must know women agents who go out in the field are no shrinking violets.
Husband and wife shared the spotlight together. Nice one for Elsa Pataky and Chris Hemsworth and Luke Bracey made an impressive villain as well❤️.
Cool to see Matt Reilly directing a film, seeing as his books are basically already Hollywood blockbusters. I think it's something he's wanted to do for a while, and he deserves this!
If this hot garbage is indicative of his directing capabilities, he should never be allowed to direct another film. This thing was absolutely straight trash.
just ends up like a b movie. maybe it's the actors. it doesn't take much difference
@@DanFrederiksen It's still a step in his direction toward directing one of his books. A lot of his fans, including myself are excited for that prospect, especially to see Scarecrow on the screen!
@@teacherofthefinearts9033 he has a book called hover car racer. cover art is like a formula 1 car with wings. that sounds like a b-movie. Interceptor was painfully bad. I'm not saying it's easy to make a movie, but that wasn't it.
@@DanFrederiksen It was never intended to be perfect in the first place, but just trust me when I say this, even Hover Car Racer, which was released for free to the public online, and is now an audiobook on Audible is actually a badass story. That is one story I want to see both on the big screen and featured as a Racing Video Game. Matthew Reilly is pining to direct his own books into movies and honestly, he has not let his fanbase down so far, so I actually trust his decisions 100%. If you do not give his books a chance, you really have no right to criticize what his books actually feature. This is quite literally judging a book by it's cover because trust me, once you read one of his books, you're going to want more.
Back in 2004, I was a Senior in High School and I would spend my afternoons after school at the School Library. I would browse the fiction section for interesting books. I saw the book Temple on the shelf. I read the blurb and the summary on the back and was hooked from then on. Every chance I got, I read his book and I loved it!
What really drew me in was the twists he had in his novels, including the Dual Storytelling that occured in the book Temple. Right from the start, it was action packed, and when there was downtime, he provided story that helped pick us up to speed.
One minute, you are in a monastery watching as monks get their heads blown by Neo Nazis trying to hold the world hostage, and next, you see yourself falling from a tank in the sky as you try to disable a bomb that will literally blow a huge chunk of the Earth into space. All the while, you are journeying back to the 1500's when the Spaniards conquered the Natives of Latin America and watching as a Spanish Priest tries to help a Warrior protect his tribe's heirloom from the villainous Spanish General.
It's books like those that draw me in, especially since he is a huge Star Wars and Back to the Future fan. Hell, he even owns an original DeLorean! Give him a chance and I know you won't be dissapointed, start where I started, try Temple and you'll see why.
Super happy for Matthew Reilly. He wanted to direct a Hollywood film for so long and here he is!
Chris: “I’ve been cast to do a new movie called The Interceptor”
Elsa: “That’s great. Can I have your role?”
Chris: “Sure.”
There is a rumor going around this girl only got this role cause she is married to Chris Hemsworth?

Are the media still pretending this film is a huge Netflix hit even though the public's ratings are visible to everyone? 4 out of 10 doesn't sound like much of an accomplishment to me.
This role suits her accurately, on the other note, I’m amused how she performed physically in this film, I.e the part when she makes climbing moves on the bars above the sea with one hand, just look at her strong muscles 💪 Its got a vibe of old times of the movies with Jean Claud Van Damme in Vietnam. Excellent movie!
You obviously didn’t see the same movie I did. This things was a god awful mess of garbage. It looked like they were making up the plot while shooting the film.

@@teacherofthefinearts9033 - trash is trash. I’ll be sure to never accidentally order one of his books on Kindle. Evidently, the author is a closet Feminist who’s all about “girl power”. Her sleeping on the way to a new command tells me everything I need to know about her abilities. As a young Marine SGT, I did the same thing in transport.

Under Siege with a lady :)

@@janefelix3821 Where did you get that info from? There’s women in combat infantry and special forces. Has been for some time now.
@@joshuastevens5910 Yes, with modified standards and no combat. Steven Segal's character was a combat SEAL who did combat tours, the backstory in the movie was that he was sent on an ill-advised mission in Panama (about 2 years before the movie took place) which cost him half his men and thus he struck his C.O., thus court-martialed and reduced in rank. The women in special forces today, since 2015, have not been deployed into missions the way men are.

I loved this film simply because the lead actress packed on some muscle for the role.
It makes the film so much more believable.

Well, I remember the last time I tried to take over a nuclear missile silo; of course inside intel was hard to get, and took a while, but the paperwork regarding new transfers was always behind, there was just no way to know who'd be on board on the exact day without a key insider feeding you real time intel. Even than, a higher ranking person, like a new XO, CO or upper level asset needed clearance, those papers were restricted to the Commanders Eyes Only Pouch. Just no way to get into that, not a chance. Of course, be careful of the cooks, you never know!
