This is my review to celebrate both my personal GOTY and 800 Subs! It's been a wild ride, so this is the perfect game to make it all come full circle.

Congrats on the 800 subs dude! Great video as well. I have yet to play Let it Die myself, and this is the first video I've seen that actually gave me a good idea of what the hell it's supposed to play like.

Wow this game looks amazing to me man! I beat no more heroes 1 and 2 and loved them but didn't even know about this game. I'll have to check it out, and yeah you're right it would be cool to have a single player version. Such a great review, so many interesting moments lol. The interpreter at the beginning was cracking me up, then came the firecracker dude haha-!!
"No repairing in this game"
False. There is a mushroom that allows, when consumed, you to repair your current equipped weapon (and probably armor, IDK).

Six years later, I have still not finished let it die, and two of my controller broke.
Yet it is still in my top 5 favorite games of ALL TIME.

i still need to try this but it seems like a pretty cool game from what i watched but i wish there was more setting since it just seems like your in dirty pipe land but otherwise looks fun and great review

BioPhoenix I've made it to the 13th floor, and it's mostly a post-apocalyptic city
yea every 10 floors changes up the scenery. There are also sub floors you find that are aesthetically different. The gameplay will hook you more than the visuals in this case.
Great review dude and congrats on the 800 subs. Quite an interesting review and always has that extra charm of yourself that you add on to it to help make it standout and be more awesome. We had only heard about this game and weren't sure on how it actually played. Definitely seems quite fun and while it does has its flaws, it keeps intact what makes Grasshopper games so much fun.

I played about 14-15 floors and kept thinking about how a sequel with a complete experience like souls would be so good. I love the concept of the tower of barbs,I would have preferred some hand crafted levels with maybe some metroidvania shortcuts or backtracking. The potential was really insane in my eyes and especially since the artstyle and just the whole atmosphere looks like it’s the closest vidya adaptation of dorohedoro (shadows of the damned was alright). Just so frustrated with the spin off. Really hope some other devs make a tower climbing action game in the near future.

what are your opinions on this game now, a year and a half or so later? i really enjoyed playing it for a while and was pretty hooked, but eventually got sick of the gungho freemium economy design that underpins the whole thing. i'd really like to see a single player rogue like-ish action game similar to this without those elements and no online elements from grasshopper.
Haven't had a chance to sit down to check out the new content. I'm making an effort to pick it back up during the upcoming Killer7 event. Will let you know then.

Not a fan of online games but this looks fun enough for those who are, I suppose. As you said at the end of this video, I hope what they earn with this game allows them to make a new kickass game. (NHM3 is not looking great at the moment..).

I don't like the games graphical style but Uncle death looks awesome. The games HUD is ugly as well. Hmm weird thought I heard the game had ways to repair your Items. Or maybe it was Items you could create. 11:39 Noo you ate one of my frogs! 15:19 You found the Donald Blade didn't you? Ironically I have heard this game is nowhere near pay2win. Is it just me or are Suda51 games very fond of "magic mushrooms" ? "You get what you paid for which is nothing" So what you mean is we get nothing with this game? xD What always online DRM? Fuck that sucks. Avoiding this game at all cost then. All and all nice review my friend. I especially loved the Donald Blade reference.

The game doesn't interest me one bit so I won't pick it up. xD Nothing wrong with enjoying this game though. :)
