    Really great explanation of your install - nice work! I've thought about doing this little project for a while now... I think it's next on my list! Thanks for sharing

    Great video Matt. I’ve got that OCD thing, so I totally identify with you. Keep up the good work.

    Just replaced one of mine. The hardest part for me was getting the actual buckle off the strap so i could put strap through the hole. Mine was SOOOOOO tight took me 15 mins to get it off..lol

    Excellent walk through on the rod straps, definitely a nice upgrade, I am also the guy who would make sure everything lines up perfectly just like you did! 😁
    New sub👍

    Well done, has anyone every tried attacing it to the rod locker, so you don't dump your rods when needing to get into your rod lockers

      I am not sure. For boat an 18 footer this just happens to be the best place. I also need the room under the deck for everything to fit and the alignment worked out because I am super OCD about that kind of stuff.

      Of all the tools I have that is actually one I don’t own and I guarantee it would’ve been a lot easier if I had one

    Great video Matt I don’t know why people are scared of putting holes in their fiberglass for stuff like this because if it came from factory installed the plant would’ve had to do the same thing.

    Thanks for the information. My only concern would be how much water is going to get inot your rod locker.

      So far, I have gotten zero water inside my lockers. I do keep the boat inside a garage and I’ve only been caught in the rain once and was able to make it to a marina within about 10 minutes.

    Matt did you remove your rod tubes and holder?

    • @BeardedBassBrawler
      @BeardedBassBrawler  Před rokem

      I didn’t order the tube holder in mine. There should be screws to pull it out though.
