  • Turning these huge Walnut slabs into a table top without a jointer was fun! I brought out my router to flatten the slabs with a sled. Watch along as build my desk bit by bit.

    I have gained confidence that, power tools is a nice investment and few of them can enable you do high end jobs, big machines are costly, may take was, a router, plunge saw, domino and orbital sander ❤ , thank you.

      @@BauWoodworks Hi Bau, could you believe that this product does not seem to exist or are not available in Canada or the USA. I wonder why? Could you let me know how much a bar costs. Maybe a box of whatever amount of bar 24 or 48 costs$. We could make a bit of money. Let me know what you think!

    Wow, die Platte ist wirklich schön geworden 😍 Und der Verzicht auf Epoxy ist ein dicker ➕-punkt! Die Planfräsmethode kennt man ja mittlerweile, aber siehe da - es braucht keine fancy Station aus Aluprofilen (auch wenn die cool sind). Es geht auch so 👍 Top!

      @BauWoodworks  Před 2 lety +1

      Danke dir Doc Rumpel 🤗
      Ja die Methode so funktioniert gut und ist natürlich kostengünstig. Wenn die Planfräsvorrichtung öfter benötigt wird dann ist das aus Aluprofilen natürlich schon komfortabler. Kleiner Spoiler, dazu wird bald noch was kommen 😉👍

    Cool! Instead of 'remembering' the depth and use that later for the next slabs you could have done all slabs 1 side first and then finally all of them with the same setting on the other side. that will also prevent you from having to do the first slab twice if the last slab turned out to have a very low point.

    • @GardenPadawan
      @GardenPadawan Před 2 měsíci

      That would take forever, moving all the slabs around only after one pass, not practical.
