I think a good application is making CKD furniture and cabinets. My garage workshop is down a level, accessed by a lift. Moving the cabinets would be a challenge. The components could easily be transported, piece by piece, and then assembled in situ.
Why on earth knockdown/cam lock fastners are not widely adopted in US by now? I mean whole europe uses them and i guess they're as sturdy as the classic praised hand made biscuits, hand pockets and so on.
Amazing work!! Congratulations!! 😍 Could you specify this low friction board? Like model, type, material, composition...?? I'm not sure I found the right one to buy online! Thank you very much!!
Gonna try this method. Thanks. I have some doubts about the wax actually preventing the dovetail from getting glued to the tabletop. Did you have any issue with wood movement?
i want to buy your blue print
hello, do you have a website or link for buy this blue print ?
It´s all about skills...and you have a lot of, by the way. Thanks for the video
The video that I've been looking for! Thanks
One of the weirdest porn intro I've ever seen... I have figured out the same shelf fitting system but I'd have to put that shelf into a gap that tiled. I'm afraid about boring the holes because tiles are pretty hard to bore precisely.
Very nicely done.
Design and construction of furniture need to consider wood movement primarily in the indoors environment. We all know this. Humidity is greater in the summer than in winter in all regions of the world if the indoors environment is air conditioned. Heating in winter time dries the indoors environment and the wood shrinks. In the summer, even though air conditioning dries the indoors environment as well, the humidity is much greater than in the winter time. In the US we design assuming that the humidity will be greater in the summer than in the winter. We are in the northern hemisphere, the same as Germany. How can your humidity be greater in the winter than in the summer?
Best router table and immaculate dust collection I have ever seen. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Sir.🎉
Very good descriction
Wow that flattening jig is way too over complicated also yes the table should be flat.....if you start completely flat there will be no need for shims and less chance of being not being flat by the time you get that ....thing made.
Any idea when this will be back in stock on your website?
Wtf, at the point you mentioned around 13m, I DID think about subscribing 🔮
Bytheway, it is backwards. It's dryer in the winter and moist in the summer, not the other way around.
i suppose the wood finish like stain, oil, or paint can affect those percentages. If the wood has a hydrophobic surface, it should minimize wood movement i think.
Where do you find the caps that cover the screws?
Sehr schöne Arbeit und auch das Endergebnis. WOW 👍🏻👍🏻.
Sanding part was really funny - I used to say f . Its perfect :)
I always wonder what the f these 1-2 mm matters in a furniture . It’s not a billiard table . I suspect we are mad
i found using 30 x 90m for the base saved a little weight and marginally reduced the size. And to make the cut easier I cut the front at about 35 degrees
Do you have a weblink to all the parts you used to build this project? I'd love to build one.
Thanks! When will the Domino Station be available again?
I'm not doubting the quality of your work, i just have a couple of questions. As far as it being on a slope, does the grain pattern direction cancel out the benefit at all, and isn't it better to have the fence locked in at 90° instead of having to make sure it's at 90 every time you use it and also risk that it moves while you're using it? Just wondering. Thanks
Yhank you Sir.🎉
Beautiful work.
perfekt auswärts 😂
Great idea to have a cart/bench combo.
How can you remove a broken pin from the kvd8 connector ?
Love your video with great tips. Mind your fingers with some of the cuts, it is easy to make a mistake with the depth. Very important too switch your width selector only when the router is running. It will get damaged in the long run.
So, handmade IKEA? 🤔
How much were the slabs?
It’s a shame you don’t have a CNC router to achieve many of the steps you showed…😉 Great work though 🙂👍🏽
Very nice video explaining the connector use. Would you use these on a baby crib to hold the sides to the front & back?
These are pretty cook. Thanks for explaining them to me. I have the DF500.
thank you 🙏🏼 you saved my day:)
I have gained confidence that, power tools is a nice investment and few of them can enable you do high end jobs, big machines are costly, may take was, a router, plunge saw, domino and orbital sander ❤ , thank you.
EXCELLENT PRESENTATION! In excellent english too! Thank you very much!!
Great work! So the sliding dovetail made it to the English speaking world ...
Luv your videos! I'm not sure if it was in this video or not, but I remember seeing you use a Forstner bit within an aluminum (?) drill guide around it. Do you have a link for those?
Speak english I cannot understand a word you utter.
Domino station looks pretty great, but could maybe do with some safety feature to prevent fingers getting near the cutter. If you accidentally set plunge depth too deep it's bye bye finger.
tracksaw + domino is so overpowerd very good video thanks you watched start to end
Why do people continue to keep so much of the bandsaw blade exposed when cutting material. I was always taught to keep about 1/4 inch or so above the material. Less chance of cutting off a finger. This is just common sense.
its beautiful. in your experience, what feedback do you have about the blades that you use in your track saw. i saw some burn marks on the edges. how did you take them out.
Hi Fabian, Are you still in business and will the Domino Station be available again?
Excellent tips! Thanks
