      Just a warning, the technique in the video only works when you are trying to get rid of a cup, it will not work with a crown.

    I rarely comment on videos, but this deserves every comment and like it can get. Works perfectly (thin kerf 120tpi blade is great when done nice and slow) and saved me $1,000 for a jointer. Thanks!

    Just tried this on a couple of old bench oak boards that were severely warped. I can glue them together as tight as any jointer could make them. Brilliant!

      I was wondering if this actually works? It looks so simple, it seems like it's a trick of the camera or something haha. I'm going to try it on my radial arm saw, since I don't have a riving knife on my table saw, or a Saw Stop tablesaw.

    Got a supply of all bend woods today and I couldn't sleep. Watched hell lot of videos for a solution as I don't have a jointer...Since my wife is sleeping besides me, I am on a silent mode 😀😀😀...So, I watched it 5-6 times, figured out how it works and discovered a great solution. You deserve a nobel prize for this. 😀😀😀 Thanks a lot.

    I was trying to get a straight edge from crooked boards and simply couldn't do it, but after watching this guy, I was able to do my straight cuts. I enjoy CZcams and get so many ideas from it.

    What an amazing tip. I literally just watched this, said "holy cow," went to my table saw, made one, and used it on some cherry boards with a slight curve to them. I did the up-board, down-board method to make a complementary joint angle, and passed each piece thru it twice. And it WORKED. Like, perfectly. Just amazing. The best part about this, compared to others, is you can joint boards longer than this piece of plywood.

    Awesome. I have seen plenty of videos of making jigs/sleds using plywood (or other engineered material), but I think this is really awesome and less setup. one can certainly see how this operates just like a jointer. Fantastic helpful guide
