That intro reminds me of my first show seeing sabaton. They came on stage at Summer Breeze 2013 saying their airline lost their instruments and they were greatfull that an other band (can't remember their name) lend them their stuff so they could play their show. Still was one of the best gigs I've ever seen.

Ensiferum Windrider
This is until this day one of my favorite bands. I was so happy to see them live this year with Wintersun, heidevolk, alien weaponry, alestorm and many more in wacken.
I am gonna see them at the accoustic tour in december. I have seen some videos and I am so hyped 🙂

Ensiferum - Iron as well
Even though I'm not that into their latest albums the early Ensiferum (Self-titled, Iron, Victory Songs) is still a big influence for me. They have just that awesome vibe.
Early and middle era Ensiferum is amazing. I picked up the first Wintersun specifically because I'd been so blown away by the first two Ensiferum records at the time. In terms of checking out any of the Ensiferum songs/videos, I say do it.
I say "no" to In my sword I trust, but check out more the older stuff like "Token of time" and "Treacherous gods"
The guitar of this song is unreal!!!
Also I'm a huge Ice Nine Kills fan, and I couldn't post a comment without telling you guys that part 4 of The Silver Scream storyline is already out ;).

I haven't properly listened to Ensiferum for years, since I overindulged their music during my late teens, but damn I really enjoyed listening this for such a long time. I have to say that their two first albums are by far the best ones, but Victory Songs and From Afar are really spectacular, too.
And I agree that Ensiferum always delivers a killer show. I've seen them live three times and they have such a great stage charisma.
I am going to see them in January, they will be touring in NA and I believe I will be seeing them again in the summer when we go to Finland. Looking forward to it.
@A&P REACTS If you are going to see them in January, then you should do Ensiferum Sundays or something at least until the show so you know more of their songs! You like to listen to Ensiferum and we like to watch you react to them, so it's a win-win situation! Some recommendations: Iron, Treacherous Gods, Lost In Despair, Little Dreamer, Twilight Tavern, Old Man, Victory Song, Heathen Throne, Warrior Without A War. Just to name a few :)
I actually think I wrote a PM to you about Ensiferum some time ago about how much they mean to me some songs to react to.
Oh I do just love Ensiferum as well as Wintersun. It is just epicness and love to my ears haha :) Looking forward for your reaction on "Death, come near me" with Draconian guys!

Battle Song deserve some love too
They lost their gear at Paganfest 2013 in Denver too, they had to use Tyr's kit mostly, which is different tunings and also I think most of their stuff is 7 strings, but they whipped out a set they hadn't rehearsed and it was still amazing.

Have you guys heard the song Vandraren with Ensiferum? If not, I think you should listen and give a reaction. The funny ting is that it is actually a cover from a swedish band, and yes the do the lyrics in Swedish.

Try Heathen Throne by them. It's a bit longer, but it's one of their most epic songs. I agree they're an awesome live band. I've seen them three times actually. Last time I saw them they did Breaking the Law but they all switched instruments first (The two guitarists played bass and drums, the drummer and bass player played guitar and the accordionist (Who has since left the band) took up singing).

Been listening Ensiferum for years, i just dont get it why most of people dislike new albums, perhaps they did fall in love with Jari... Yeah he was Great and still is, but band is still Ensiferum and it still rocks, even latest album was awesome for me.

Definitively you should listen to more Ensiferum with us. You heard some of their stuff but don't worry. Like Sabaton, almost every of their songs are worth the attention. Listening to Ensifeum should be your new habit (and some more Amorphis would be very healty as well).
