    The opening where everything kindof dissolves/evaporates constantly. For me thats a super cool effect. Been trying to find a tutorial for that for a while now.

    Excellent and illustrative tutorial. I would like to change the way the slices form and disintegrate. For example I have a thin circular stone and I want the disintegration to be in concentric circles from the center. What process do I follow?

    • @limo_learning_
      @limo_learning_  Před 2 lety +1

      I just uploaded a new video about the making proces of this same effect, but used as cgi. In that video you can get some ideas and clear some notions about this kind of "masks". I have 3 options of regular shapes you can use for this thin stone you´re mentioning:
      1. By pressing Alt+S in a torus you can scale de thikness of it, and then scale it up and down in order to create a slice.
      2. Use 2 cylinders, and also scale them, both of them with a boolean modifier, but the one on the inside set to difference, an the one on the outside to union.
      3. A cone could also work and the advantage is that instead of scaling it, you can animate its location so that you keep propotions all the time.
      Any doubt, I read your response, Thak you!!

    Can you revers this effect like going from Particles to a object?

    • @limo_learning_
      @limo_learning_  Před rokem +1

      Yeah, but it’s actually easier if you render it and when you make your animation with all the frames, you put them backwards and you have your effect done
