As for why Nyle "reset" at the end. Nyle and Sarah escaped the loop but Roy didn't (at least not yet) so he's reliving that first day but now the Nyle in that day is just like everyone else.
Actually when I was watching it for the first time I was like “you can put everyone in the tunnel and then technically you wouldn’t repeat the day” lol

Palm Springs was really good and amazing. I loved it.
This is the weirdest thing. When I watched this movie two nights ago, I did not really enjoy it at all. I felt it was too light on humor, and did not understand what it was trying to say. However, having now watched this reaction, I actually found myself enjoying it much more
Oddly enough I had a similar experience with Eurovision 2 weeks ago with Will Ferrell. I was torn with how I felt about it but I have watched it several times since then and love it lol Sometimes your just in a different state of mind then needed for a certain type of movie
There's evidence, although circumstantial, that Grandma is in the loop as well. She pops up for a reason. She's reliving a special night, with all her family around her, at a nice venue, she's not got many years ahead of her in the real world and this is a better alternative than dying.
About 45 years... that's a long time
