- Welcome to my Veronaville 10 Rotations Later. Several years have passed so I thought I'd show you were these iconic Sims 2 sims are now. In this episode, we cover the members of the Capp Manor and The Monty Ranch. This will be a mini series with future episodes covering the rest of the hood.

Something terrible happened in my rotation. Miranda and Mercutio were in love, Puck and Hermia were in love. But when Miranda and Puck went to university with Juliet, since they are all of the same age, Puck decided to give a romantic hug in Miranda, they fall in love instantly and Miranda wished to get engaged with Puck and he accepted! Now I don’t know what I will do with poor Mercutio and poor Hermia after what happened. This game is making fun of me! Puck wasn’t even with max stats and decided to give a romantic hug...
I always liked Romeo and Juliette's poor chemistry, it felt like their relationship was doomed to fail and end in tragedy. Of course, Juliette is chronically depressed in my game because Romeo died, but so did her aunt and two uncles soooo
Beatrice and Tybalt are one of my fave pairs, so i just love that they found each other in your game ❤
This was awesome ❤ I absolutely love what you've done with the place. I definitely look forward to seeing more. What a way to start the character presentations: here are some tombstones 😂 What a statement, loved it ❤ I don't know how you did it, but Tybalt looks very handsome. I've always found his ( and Miranda's) face particularly pointy, but your version of him doesn't look bad at all, quite the opposite. It's nice too see the after shakes of the feud still there, what with the split up hood, and even separate churches, which was a really nice touch. But then also certain things that speak of the feud dying down, namely the younger generation partnering up. I adore your houses, they look really fresh and atmospheric. Really really cool to see this, especially after all of your secretive hints before this. Can't wait for the next ep ❤

I really haven't done much with Tybalt at all! Only removing the face paint, a new hairstyle and different brows. I think the skin I use, Feathers, is quite flattering on those sharp edges. He also grows into his face a bit too. But yeah zoom in too close or catch the wrong angle and you can definitely see that face structure still haha! But I agree he's rather handsome...though I think I'm a Monty girl myself😏
I think its a nice balance at the moment, theres still some drama and tension but also some huge progression in other ways. Tbh, I think the fued will be completely dead come next generation but we'll have to see!
Its so nice to hear you like my houses, I admire your builds so much. I might have been lazy with downloading my community lots but I put a lot of effort into the homes.

Just a few minutes in, but I love how your brain works. You just solved the uneven number of days in the week and wanting the same number of days per round dilemma for me. It seems like such a simple solution, but I think it's genius and at the same time I feel like I should have thought of that. 😄 I am definetly going to use that for the second hood that I've been playing on and off.

Love it all, thanks for sharing and I look forward to finding out how you played the rest of them and the students too. Your ideas about some of the sims and their relationships are different from how I see them, but I see that as a bonus because it’s always interesting to explore more options and outcomes from the starting scenarios. Aw thank you so much! I’m so glad! Yeah I absolutely love how these premades have so much depth yet there’s so much open to interpretation and left to be unfolded that they can be so different in different saves for the same player never mind different people!
This is really interesting! I always struggle to play through Veronaville because for every character I like, there's a character I don't like, and also the smallness of it gets a bit boring. I like the way youve gotten creative and made it more interesting! And I love the way the video is narrated in a documentary kind of way, since I love documentaries!
Ah thanks so much! Honestly I’ve grown to love every one of them even though I started by seeing a lot of the Capps as ‘baddies’, I think they’re all lovely now and want whats best for them! I can’t imagine getting bored anytime soon but I’m sure it will start to feel quite inter related eventually. I hadn’t given too much thought about how I narrated so thats great to know, thank you! I just discovered your channel and I love your content! It's good to see that other people also still play the Sims 2. 😊 I just started a new Veronaville and now I look for inspiration, because I tend to play the neighborhoods always the same way. 😅

32:29 I think the mismatch between Beatrice’s birth personality and the personality she has when you start the game might be a bit of an oversight. Her birth personality is the same as Benedick’s personality. They were probably created as exact copies since they’re twins, but maybe the devs realized after the fact that they didn’t want their personalities to be identical, so they changed Beatrice’s “current” personality without bothering to change her birth personality.

Edit: I was fascinated by your calculator but unfortunately, I suffer from dyscalculia and was having a hard time figuring out all the number stuff. I would have just done 1-10 but I didn't want to miss out on the negative feature you included. Ahh well. :p
Ah I’m sorry! If it helps, I’ll be showing how I use my calculator in the next episode of my Opening Valley Let’s Play, it was difficult to explain in writing but maybe seeing it might make it clearer
So this was fun to chill and watch this afternoon!
Firstly, I can't believe Tybalt is marrying a Monty 😮🙈🙈 Shakespeare is ROLLING in his tomb 🤣 I have never done a proper playthrough of Veronaville (I SHOULD I know!!!) But I think I'd have to stay loyal to Shakespeare's character and have Tybalt be an absolute tyrant and maybe die rather than learn to like the Montys 😅😅
I loved seeing the community lots, the churches are beautiful!! And it totally makes sense that they'd have different churches lol, like olden time Catholic vs Protestant or something haha. That was a great touch!
In terms of length / depth, if you're worried about length I think that for a good overview where we won't actually be playing these Sims as a regular series it's probably not exactly "necessary" to go into their personalities and bios and traits and in depth... probably it'd be enough to just show how they fit into the overall family structure and say a general "they're nice" or "they're not nice".
That said, I enjoyed seeing what you'd done with the characters and had a lovely time crocheting and listening to your in-depth explanations of everyone's characters so each to their own I guess! Just make the videos that you enjoy making 😊
Can't wait to see more of the extended families! And yes I'd definitely like to see more after you've played for another 5 sim weeks, let's see how many babbies Juliet can pop out ehehe!

Ikr! You definitely should but I wouldn't blame you haha. I was really surprised it happened, but it all happened without my intervention! I never really force storylines. Their chemistry was just so strong it made him see differently I guess!
Thanks so much, I can't take credit for the builds but Protestant vs Catholic was exactly what I was thinking! Plus I figured the elders wouldn't have wanted to be buried near each other or on the 'wrong' side of town.
I appreciate the feedback, its definitely something to consider. I guess to me everything is interlinked even though I might not have done the best job at explaining that, like they have a certain aspiration or career or trait because of a certain interest or something like that. So every time I considered cutting something out, I felt like something else then didn't make as much sense, at least not to me. I guess I wanted to shoehorn an insight into my gameplay style as well as just introducing the sims haha! I'm really glad you enjoyed it, I love in depth explanations too but its certainly not everyone's cup of tea!

Just had this pop up in my feed, and I love seeing other people's games! Your Veronaville looks absolutely lovely, and their is so much going on!
Also love seeing different age mods in play from other Simmers! I've been using an age mod like this for years:
Baby 3
Toddler 3
Child 6
Teen 8
Adult 40
Elder 12-20+
This way, I have more time with my adults and nowhere near as log as kids and teens.
Aw thank you! Yeah I do too. That makes sense, adult is definitely the most enjoyable life stage. Do you manage to teach toddlers all their skills in just 3 days?
@@BellaDovah Typically I am able to hit it in 3 days! Some toddlers might only get 2 out of 3, though
It’s so cool that you use TS3 traits mod, I hardly see anyone use it and I’m dying to test it out when I can finally play TS2 again. I thought I heard somewhere that it conflicts with ACR, but because I have seen anyone else using it, I’m unsure. Have you noticed any issues with it? Loving your channel, and your builds are fantastic, don’t sell yourself short!
Aw thats so sweet thank you!🥰 I love the Traits Project, especially now that more recently other creators have been making mods for it. I do hope to do a video about it soon. I don’t think I have any conflicts with ACR so nope definitely not noticed any issues - can highly recommend using both!

This was so interesting to watch! Tybalt with Beatrice… I never thought to pair them up. I feel like everyone always pairs Tybalt with Mercutio! I always thought Veronaville was the least interesting of the base game hoods, but you made it look as fun as the others. Where did you find the Italian photo set behind Tybalt at 21:00 ?
Aw thank you! Yeah I literally picked Veronaville just to get my bearings when I first tried out rotational gameplay thinking I could experiment with a few things, not want to play it for long, and move onto a different hood when I knew what I was doing...but I just absolutely fell in love. I honestly can't imagine having more fun in any other hood. Tybalt & Beatrice surprised me too but they made it happen on their own! I honestly have no idea where the community got the idea of Tybalt & Mercutio together from, must be some sort of fan-made fic or fantasy. They start out hating each other and I'm pretty sure both straight so it would never happen naturally. Not my sort of gameplay style to follow made-up storylines like that! They would be a pair of cuties though haha! And its a 4t2 Dine Out Conversion, here you go:

Hi!! I saw that chapel on the sims resource, but I’m nervous to download it because there’s tombstones on the lot. Will it corrupt my game if I download it and put it in my hood? 😢 Or are they fake tombstones?
Hey they’re fake ones, I never had an existing tombstone when I placed it down in my neighbourhood and no issues😊

What is this mod you're using to get rid of Met Someone memory?
I believe its 'No Trash Memories' by Boiling Oil on LeeFish. Note that I quite heavily tuned this mod because by default it stops a lot more memories than I wanted it too, and also disables gossip, so I re-enabled quite a few memories and gossip but kept ones that annoyed me like Met Sim disabled. Enabling and disabling is really easy to do in SimPe as its all in one single BCON. However, if you just want to stop the Met Someone memories and no others, there's a mod called 'No More Stupid Memories' by DiLight on Mod The Sims and that has a file that only affects the Met Sim Memories.
