This narrator sounds so excited, for a good reason though. I'm currently playing Origami King, it's my second Paper Mario game after 64 and it's fantastic.
I'll definitely get this one. I remember it getting pretty high review scores back in Gamecube days.

Huff n Puff was the big cloud boss commanding them in the flower fields chapter.
The standard enemies are called Puffs. They come in varieties like Tough Puff, Dark Puff, and Rough Puff.

The game looks fantastic I think the only thing I disagree with stylistically are the crystal stars they look too much like paper which is understandable but I liked the artistic choice of making them look more 3d
I agree with this tbh. The Crystal Stars in the original had weight to them, now they look hollow. Earth Tremor made so much more sense coming from the OG Crystal Stars, I think they should have used the more advanced materials and lighting to make them look like actual crystals this time.

It's a remake of TTYD. There's no way it can fail.

I just realized why I don't like the grass in the first scene, it's glossy, which is not what grass looks like. I would've prefered it if they didn't do that.

I get what you mean, I don’t like the glossy effect, it’s not just on the grass, it’s on every flooring. I think they’re trying to make it look like everything takes place in a theater with how the floors of a theater stage are shiny, idk. But I don’t like that artistic choice either

They focus on the completely wrong aspects. When will Nintendo learn that the paper gimmick of this series is not its selling point. It is a great aesthetic but it isn´t what made the games great as we have seen with the games in the series that followed TTYD.
They gotta market it somehow. The features that made this game great aren't very good selling points on their own, so they use paper as a backbone.
@@mirlov The issue is that in recent PM games focused more and more on the paper aspect while neglecting what made PM64 and TTYD so good. Also the narrator is acting like this is the first time they ever made a Paper Mario game.
They could have easily kept the footage without a ton of paper puns and making it seem like this is the very first Mario game with the paper aesthetic.

I hope they remake Super Paper Mario next for the Nintendo Switch 2 and release it on either Fall of 2026 or Spring of 2027
I hope for a new game before that.

Oh man, I'm so excited for this game. Disclaimer, I've never played this game before. I've heard of it, but I never played it. The only paper Mario game I played was origami, King and that was it until now? I'm about to play this new one. Well, technically It's a remake. But still I'm really excited. I need some help guidance. Tips and tricks for anyone who gets this text. Like what Pacific badge I need. What upgrades I need? What things to buy? Let me know because i'm gonna be Leveling up on my Health 2 times my flower points. 2 times and my badge points 2 times if that's what people want me to do, let me know. But anyway, I'm extremely excited for this game. Let me know how to take down the hardest bosses and let me know how to beat This game at a hundred percent
For a first time player, I recommend upgrading HP, FP, and BP evenly. Maybe start with FP, then HP, then BP, and repeat. When you feel comfortable with your HP, start pouring most of your level ups into BP, as it is the best choice.
I feel like the badges will ultimately be up to you and your play style; part of the fun is figuring out what badges you like and using them. But I will say that Power Bounce is very good.
@lukers9819 Okay, great thank you Do I just upgrade it twice? Because that's what I do with R PG games as I upgrade them twice. That's what I did with supermark RBG Remake and it helped So should I just upgrade it once or twice

If you see a quest (they’re called troubles in this game) by ??? DO IT.
Also always try for Superguards instead of normal guards. Even if you fail 75% of the time you’ll still usually block more damage over the whole battle.
Other than that, have fun and just explore everything the game has to offer.

They won't. Vivian, in the original, was changed to be a female instead of transgender, and it's probably gonna stay that way because of how gamers react to any representation in gaming.
Who knows, anything could happen. They've kept Vivian a "secret" so far.
