- In this video, I took a look at the John Petrucci Jazz III guitar pick. THis is one of his signature guitar picks produced by Jim DUnlop. This is a great pick for those looking to increase their speed when picking. A great plectrum iondeed! Enjoy

Hey! I'm just wondering... For strumming would you prefer these or the Red or Black Jazz 3's? I'm playing an acoustic and still a beginner. I hear these Dunlop picks are good and I just want to get a good pick and stick with it for awhile. Would love to hear your thoughts!
Hey There! Good question. I'd suggest trying The red one and the one in this video and see which one you prefer for strumming. I'd say the red is probably better but all 3 you've mentioned are better suited for Lead guitar. If you're looking specifically for strumming I'd look at lighter gauge nylon picks. THe Jazz III shape is generally pretty small and that is why it is better for lead. But again, I would go out and get a few different picks and see which one suits you. That is always my recommendation :) I hope that helps and please let me know if you have any questions at any time! Thanks!
@@GuitarPickZone Thank You!
great review
how much did it cost you?
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it :) It cost me around $1.25 for the single pick.
Best alternate picking,black or red?
Black.
Red is a bit smaller, but needs more time to get into.
And the grip is worse.
What song is that?
How many m.m . thickness is the guitar pick?
1.5mm
