I think they are going to need some new palms ! I lost 8 palms here in the UK, got down to only -9 c nothing like what you guys had but its been the worst winter for cold since 2010 !
Most should recover, thankfully no spear pull, but yeah that carnage is tough to look at, we have some here in the D.C. area too. That palmetto is awesome! Hoping they all recover, keep us posted!
I've been thinking about these guys. With 3 single digit temps in Charlotte in the last 10 years, I knew it was only a matter of time. And no new owner was going to give those palms the love you did. I hope they all recover.

Sabals are really tried and true in our region. They definitely make a good staple in the landscape, and there are a lot of varieties to choose from
