    BTW, you can update the firmware to 1.26.00 where you can solve the battery drain issue by turning off the earbuds when are not on use.

    I´ve order it . My first choice was the B&O wireless earbuds but they are sold out. And imo 4 hours of battery is more then enough for me. Sound is more important for me. I dont care abouth calls and such.

      Im getting the Momentum 3 when my AKG earphones breaks. Wished Momentum's had Apxhd and Ldac like xm3s but they still the king for audiophiles.

    Another great review! How would you compare these to the B&O e8 in terms of sound quality?

    • @TheGamingAudiophile
      @TheGamingAudiophile  Před 5 lety +4

      The E8 2.0 sounds more flat and neutral. The bass sounds a tad weak in relation to the other frequencies. Vocals are clear and distinct on the E8's but due to the treble energy, they can sound slightly cold at times. Treble has great extension, but it peaks in the wrong areas and introduce some sibilance and harshness to the sound. Also, for me, they don't get quite loud enough when outside.

    Excellent review. Battery life is indeed an issue and most likely a deal breaker for me. Don't know if you've heard the B&W P7 Wireless, but if you have, how would you say the SQ on the Senns compares to the P7s? I absolutely love the sound signature of the P7s, more so, actually, than my HD800s.

      They released an update to firmware that fixed that battery issue with draining. I get the advised battery time now.

    You missed an important and great Pro though: aptX and aptX LL support, which is very, very rare and makes them great for watching videos, because it gets rid of that stupid delay many bluetooth headphones have (not on iOS devices of course, because Apple).

    • @TheGamingAudiophile
      @TheGamingAudiophile  Před 5 lety

      Ranessin Strabo AptX LL is irrelevant because no phones that I know of support it. Also, AAC sounds as good or better than AptX. The sound increase of AptX HD and LDAC hasn’t been proven in an ABX sound test. So anyone saying LDAC or AptX HD sounds better than AAC is experiencing placebo unless they have done an ABX sound test and got at least a 90% success rate. Apple currently has the best AAC implementation and sounds like a wired connection.

      I use aptx and LDAC and with Hi Res FLAC and MQA with Tidal. LDAC with the right BT settings under Developer options has better reproduction when using the Sony WH 1000XM3 headphones.

    For the price, there is nothing super compelling about these. Perhaps down the road, they will improve with function and features versus price.

    • @TheGamingAudiophile
      @TheGamingAudiophile  Před 4 lety +1

      Applecompuser I agree. For $300 the sound quality isn’t enough to justify the issues that plague this product. The Sony’s WF-1000Xm3 is a better buy.

      maurice williams I have 1.2.6. The case still drains power. The firmware update only allows for you to turn off the right earbud from the app. The left earbud still remains in lower state which drains the case battery overtime.

      @@TheGamingAudiophile yes it is, not worth 300$ at all. And the battery life is a joke. 4 ours is a lie to. I would say more like 3/3.5 ours. 4 ours must be at 50% volume. And the are some of the worst buds on the marked when it comes to connection. Had to send back my first ones, would not connect at all. My second ones connected right away. And many ppl have problems with this.
