Arcana ain't getting in NA/EU for release it seems... so I'll move onto other classes (trying to learn Demonic as a hybrid pick) for future videos.
Very sad though since I'm pretty much Arcana main at this point - but at the end of the day its all just Sorc waiting room.

can someone explain the dmg down dmg up mechanic I still don't get it is it an arcanist thing because i feel like sometimes i just don't do as much dmg to someone as blaster

Arcana has a card called Twisted Fate. If you use the card you have a 50% chance of getting 40% damage up, or 20% damage down. This matters a lot because it isn't "Attack Power" but straight up damage - meaning it scales incredibly highly. If you get damage up you burst very hard, if you get damage down you do negative damage.

Lin-0, please, can you explain or make a video on how to counter arcana? I can't stagger her EVER and when she staggers me she deals 60-80% of my max hp in damage! I don't understand this 10/10 mobility, 10/10 stagger, 10/10 damage class...

She definitely doesn't do that much damage unless she has Death card lol - she's pretty widely considered to be pretty underwhelming if anything, and has very little high-end representation.
Arcana has a lot of Hard Stiff immunity, and almost all her skills also inflict Hard Stiff. This can make it hard to outtrade her, especially if you aren't aware of your own Hard Stiff Immunities.
She falls flat on 2 major points - first being that she has lots of animation locks. If she does Shuffle (big AoE circle), she's stuck there unless she uses space dodge. If she does Spiral Edge (KD armoured jump), she can't even space out of it, so its a very easy opportunity to hard CC her.
Second being that her burst is melee. She can demon + rain and it does ok damage, but she's gonna have to go in to burst. Her burst takes a very long time to set up (Scratch Dealer > Flower Dance > Teleport Back > Dark Resurrection > Call of Fate > Celestial Rain - and that's just for one combo!).
If you can punish her during her animation locks and interrupt her burst, you'll be shutting her down.

@@LinNull but she can stack damage amplifying cards on me...and her AoE has big range and gives you no time to react to dodge it. Thank you for the quick response - I get it: she tries to get close> I use stun!

@@user-zz8yi1lk5p She doesn't stack damage amplifying cards. She needs to stack cards to deal damage - without cards she doesn't do damage on red skills. The cards only apply to red damage skills - of which Arcana only has 1 in meta builds (Celestial Rain). She's tricky to react to, but easy to read and punish when you know the right points.
Its worth trying out Arcana yourself - the best way to learn to counter a class is to play it honestly.
Impairment is a PvE metric and does not apply to PvP at all. Daze and stagger(stiffness) are the same - the translation is wonky and not very good. Both should mean the same thing.
