This was NOT a tournament, but a sort of random matchmaking we had between people who signed up for the event. We didn't expect this many but we've learnt from the occasion - proper tournaments will be coming out soon though, so keep an eye out.

holy crap that defensive buff from the soulmaster in the 6th fight seemed to have made a huge difference. As someone who only played alpha can anyone fill me in?

Soul Master/Soulfist has a buff called "Inner Ki Discharge" - it's on a long cooldown (45ish seconds at max agility - but can do down to just 32 seconds at Qi Stage 3!), and while it's active the entire team takes 50% reduced damage for 6 seconds. Holy Knight/Paladin also has a buff called "Guardian Angel", (which is also around 45ish seconds at max agility) that reduces damage taken by the entire team by 40% for 8 seconds. Then Destroyer has a skill called "Endure Pain", which makes him nigh invulnerable for 8 seconds on a 30 second cooldown.
By cycling the buffs correctly + peeling when the buffs are down, that kind of team can ensure they take very little damage during burst phases - especially if they save these defensive cooldowns for when the enemy is trying to set up their damage combos.
As you can see, the combination of these 3 skills make for an incredibly tanky team where there's very few opportunities to go in - so against good players it can be very difficult to rushdown at the right time.

That's right. We'll be doing NA/EU events and tournaments when the regions are out, but right now RU is most accessible.

just a simple tip, please if you're directing or announcing a pvp tourny just dont move the camera back and forward every 3 seconds, it confuses the eye of the Spectators and makes it super hard to follow the fight.
