I think Rob is going to love this campaign. The girls are going to actually appreciate the level of detail he puts into things lol
The most exciting part about this campaign in particular is the pure growth of Viva. The fact that the core 3 (and Ben) are not part of this, really shows that they can grow the channel with the other talented people they have. This and the Dark Souls series is showing their growth and I cannot wait to see what it looks like in 3-4 years! Rob keep smashing that DM role, love to see it!

However some small cross over events would be cool. Even if it’s just during the blue screen segments. Like these people happen to be near the Orc village that Baradun wiped out with a single meteor.
I'm too used to Ben being in Britts seat, when you ask for the armor class I expected "probably a million"

Starting with combat is an excellent idea. It gets things going right away and instead of hours of roleplay and backstory, gives the new players something specific to work on, as well as letting them learn their characters' abilities.
I’m already looking forward to a crossover episode.

Didn't expect Rhi to be so into her character so quickly, but she's doing wonderfully. Love that Phoenix went with a small/tiny dragonfly winged character. Always enjoy Rob's lore, his story telling is amazing.

The fairy and Minotaur I love their attitudes. This seems like a great cast. Fellas better watch out cause these ladies are gonna outclass them.
I've only ever seen Rob doing VLDL DnD so I've really only seen him wit the main cast and occasional guest characters. But, here, watching him with a whole new group, I've realised that he is actually quite quick. Not just with the other 4, with everyone. He's quick to observe, interpret, and respond to what people say and do. It's a bit impressive.

I'm loving this!! The ladies and their accents/portrayals are just fantastic! Rhi is just hysterical and reminds me of how confident Rowan portrays Bodger! Even her rolls are similar (rolling on the high end). ♥💙
Also Rob: When Britt wanted to move forward a second time... couldn't she have taken the Dash action? Just moved twice in lieu of using an action?
She didn't want to move forward a second time. She wanted to just get within 60ft. Which she achieved with only 20ft of her 30ft movement.
But yes, if she had wanted to move again, she could have dashed rather than used her slayer's prey or whatever it was called.

Hence the mechanics I put into place for this one so that I wouldn't have to roll everyone individually
I had a bunch of spearwielding bandits make a single entity shield wall to deal with this the players were chill with it

She's got a little catch up to do hahaha.... these guys got me into dnd then I went on to critical roll the seriousness of there game and role play(voice acting) defs is a huge draw for me but always good to come back to the source of my new found love of dnd..... I kinda wish these guys had 3 hours eps. I'd be down for that, lol
@@allmight8127 Yeah, I'd much prefer 3-hour episodes. It's why I stopped watching the boy's at episode ~70, but I'm sure the editing takes way too long for that to be feasible. Though it'll be fun seeing how newcomers act when playing dnd.
I love this!!!! Rob! Thanks to your interesting GM style and storytelling & the rest of the squad...4-5 years following VLDL and watched all the previous DnD skits finally I have started my very first campaign here in Norway with an experienced DM... I was extremely excited how will it go, and worried that I'll be a bit of a noob, but understanding the basics, the rules helped me a lot... 2/3 sessions already in and loving our story unfold, and already new silly unplanned character traits coming into the picture...
Thanks again Rob & Team for being awesome; watching you folks helped me to jump into our campaign, making some new local & international friends here in Norway! :) Keep up the good work!!

Looking over the comments, I think this is going to bring an interesting dynamic to this channel. While the girls will no doubt have fun and be funny, I think this campaign will be a bit more serious, without all the goofing around the guys do. Don't get me wrong, the guys campaign is absolutely one of my favorite table top role playing shows, but I think this campaign will attract a different audience that may not be able to tolerate all the interruptions and craziness haha.
Great start, can't wait to see how this starts to shape up. I expected Britt and Ellie, but I was super excited to see Phoenix. She's got great energy and I can tell she's going to be pretty formidable haha, she's also a cutie. Good to see Rhi, I always enjoy her with Hamish, maybe he'll make an appearance?

The Dimwitt Militia deployed infront of the stone wall instead of behind the wall. Baradun and the Dix Hedds must have trained the Dimwitt Militia.
not even 10 mins in and its already so different but refreshing and i love it the energy they put out is much more noticable which makes it already a great setup for a completely chaotic and dissastrious story which is gonna be amazing and i cant wait

YES, another D&D show i can watch while having limited time. these half hour to an hour episodes honestly fit perfectly in my schedule. And ofc its amazing that its the one and only Rob providing us with the story.

To be fair Adam had a notebook almost right from the beginning of the campaign. There's several times where I've seen him pull it out to bring up something from much earlier in the campaign.
I love the dedication to the minotaur, but i love even more that she is playing a Valor Bard. Valor Bards don't get enough love!
Also the girls are already more efficient than the boys when they started cause the girls are actually listening xD
So excited for this! Love how they have personal dice trays as well. Seeing new classes and story is great. Will love to see how in the far future they will crossover the main campaign

It will take a few episodes to see how the ladies do, but it is off to a good start... IMO they are already showing themselves to be a great group of players to DM... Having been playing D&D since the 80s, it is always good to see players who take lots of notes, do not try to compete with each other for the spotlight, and do not try to BS their way through.
Rhi getting into character right out the gate has me excited to see where she will go.

It will be interesting to see what group dynamic that devlops here. You can already see some interesting types. You have Rhiannon the ROLE player who doesn't break character and tou have Britt filling the role of the "veteran" who's playing the game. Phoenix seems to still be finding her feet in the game and Ellie is a bit of a wild card currently.
Either way it's a nice to have a different dynamic than the colection of class clowns that the Viva guys are. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the clowning, but it's nice to see different types of groups.

My first d&d campaign! I was way too overwhelmed by the amount of content in the boys d&d. So looking forward to this.
I really appreciate that the girls haves studied DND prior to their first go. Seems like they did more so than the boys first episode. But also love that they give Rob a run for his money, just like the boys do. Makes it very entertaining. ANOTHER PLEASE!!!
