I just want you to know that my 10 year old daughter has Downs Syndrome. @@kazoohakazoo362 obviously the order is wrong, but it actually makes sense if you wanna put it into a character plotline.
Ben had grinded his reputation to max for months if not even years and when he lost it all, he knew he was not gonna do that sickening grind yet again, so he became to become one of those players who mind not the consequences of his actions and cares not for rep, but only the rewards from the quests.

It kinda makes sense. People get toxic when they are addicted or very emotionally invested. The Minecraft Community on servers is actually super toxic. The most liked German server is actually super toxic and full of people that just scam others.

At least I've never had corona, but despite all my protection and doing the right thing, I managed to catch toxic person virus 🤦♀️😊😃💞👍.
This video perfectly demonstrates one of the reasons why I stopped playing online. After a very tiring day at work, what most people just want to do is, find a way to destress and relax so that they can repeat things on the next day, since most types of work are just tedious or pretty monotone, but then some people who have too much time on their hands, instead of trying to help other people out, they mostly resort to harassing or bullying people who don't have as much time as them, and then for those that play any games with microtransactions or gacha elements, you have to deal with the same harassment and bullying, and on top of that you also have to feel like a plebian, because these people are 100% pay to win and they drop hundreds of dollars just to make themselves "META", its just not worth it to deal with this kind of stuff anymore, that's why I stick to solo games and occasionally play a COOP game with some friends.
I have a Minecraft server with my friend.
We have Ram Ranch where I'm allowed to save any animals and he's not allowed to kill them. I'm not allowed to rescue his farm animals under the base.
I build the roads, he kills the monsters.
I mine the crap, he builds the mine rails.
I absolutely love not playing with randos anymore.
I was so heavy into WoW that I didn't even realize how bad it was until I debated paying for an extra seat to take my computer with me to my internship and paying $300 a month for Internet at a place I didn't own. And I didn't realize how bad the players were until I didn't have someone constantly killing me or screaming at me or I just didn't flinch. I literally haven't logged in since.
@@OGimouse1 Escape from Tarkov's constant flood of cheaters convinced me to abandon that swill. I'll play Path of Exile with friends from time to time but Minecraft is definitely the best, a bunch of us just helping each other build bigger, crazier things.
And cherry on top. after 2 years server is down and you lose every penny and hours that you have invested in to that thing.

Yes, this is another of the reasons why I don't like live service games, you never own the games so when the developers or publishers decide to take it down, there goes your game and countless hours or money down with that decision, and they never compensate people because it was on the terms and conditions, that you had to agree to before you were allowed to even play the game.

Greg being disappointed is one of the saddest things that can happen to one man.
The grind skit hits danger close. I quit playing MMO's because of it. It started to feel like a job and I had other things to do.
That is exactly when you should stop playing a game too.
Same thing happened to me… I played ffxi for well over a decade…. Then I started having kids and my free time went from abundant to none real fast! 😂
I only play game that required to grind max 6 months because it tire me out so fast. It feels like a job or chore after a while
That's how I landed in GW2. I missed MMOs but got real tired of grinding currencies and reputations and gears so I picked up a new free to play to stab some monsters. I still have armor from 6 years ago that I won't ever have to upgrade, there's nothing I have to farm but lots of things I can if I want to. And if it starts to feel like a chore, you can skip months and come back like nothing happened.
Well, i stopped playing multiplayer-Games. SP-game is the way to go for enjoying your free time.
I like to think there’s a greater arching story where Ben has a good character and doesn’t like the bad guy character he tried until Brit ruined his good character’s reputation and at that point being a bad guy didn’t faze him.

dude, they all _are_ pros - the three core members actually meet working together on films. Same goes for the rest of the cast (including Brit and Hammish). They all are literal pros, actually hired by VLDL for the sketches, but those are not their only acting roles.

@@GoodbyeCruelWorld Come on, Dude. Don't go there. These are just a group of British friends doing fun and funny skits. Besides, rpg's generally consider "race" as being human, orc, elf, etc with humans coming in different skin tones and often being the "master" race. Unless, you're playing an Elder Scrolls game in which there would be Redguards along with Argonians, Khajiits, Nords, Imperials, and Dunmer among others. Just enjoy the skits for the funny entertainment they are.
About the abducted kids, Ben did kill all the bandits so literally nothing is stopping a couple of guards from going there and getting back the rest of the children.
I've always thought about that.. Also like... Have you seen cages in most games... Kids can just walk through the bars 😅

OMG the day the Leader and Seoncd in Command of our Guild had a "sit me down" with me on my performance in the last raid, I knew I was done with MMO's. It for real was just like workig in an Office. I have to say, as someone who tends to play the bad guy in games that let you (Renegade in Mass Effect, Dark Side in Star Wars, even ruthless vampires, spellcasters, and werewolves many times with the actual Evil trait in Sims 4, etc.) that skin of Ben trying to play the villain and crying was especially funny. :Þ

He made it to approximately the first conversation with dark side points before he decided against it lol

I think I ended up killing a NPC for one of the quests I was hoarding and because he was dead and wouldn't respawn that quest couldn't be completed. That was a real eye-opener for consequences, thanks Bethesda! 🤣
@@JeremyTaylor-op8eh Skyrim has essential npcs too, so most big quest lines are supposed to be murder hobo proof. In Morrowind you can completely lock yourself out of any quest, even the main questline, by killing important npcs lol

@@JeremyTaylor-op8eh i don't know about Fallout as much, but I think they would have some essential npcs since Oblivion does iirc. If Morrowind has companions they should be able to die no matter what
They can die in Skyrim for sure, it is set up in such a way that if they aren't essential they will only die when following you if it is by your hand, but if you use AoEs that is likely to happen anyway
I had to reload a ton because I kept killing Lydia with flames accidently, I eventually swapped to one that was essential though. If you play on pc there are mods to help to keep them alive too, but unsure which ones are good off the top of my head

The part called "The Grind" with Rowan playing the role of a burned out head tank makes me remember my days in WoW doing high level PVE. Watching this makes me grateful to have decided to drop WoW and all MMO games forever. It's one of the best decisions that I've ever taken in my life. We did have fun, but all that grinding and peer pressure transformed the game into a job.
I've watched these skits so many times it's crazy. I still love them every time.

"The Grind" is literally why I stopped playing WoW, GW2, and SWTOR back in the day. It gets to a point if youre not willing to make it a second career, you can't get into a raid. And usually, the raids aren't even fun because of all the optimizing.
At this point, I basically just stop playing MMOs at endgame because its not worth it.
