RIP Saikyomog. This video is the reason I bought Capcom vs. SNK 2 a week before graduating high school back in 2008. I used to listen to this while doing homework during that time.

Wish I owned this game. I heard from a friend that I could have downloaded a software copy of this game on my PSP which would have been awesome.
I don't even remember when I first saw this video. Might have been 2 years after it was released. Which would be 2008.

Nice video clip, liked how the custom combo was used well and finished off with a super. Heh I do the exact same moves that Haohmaru uses for his custom combo in this video, when I play as Haohmaru.
Also liked the semi 3D backgrounds, hmmmmmm wonder if I can get it for MUGEN.

Just watched this again and i have to say i am pretty good at this game now but dammit! You are still better than i am. i can't pull a lot of those combos off while fighting people hey :(. So once again, mad song and wicked combos

Hmm. I see. I'll practice it then. Can you tell me a little about the G-END timing? How do I time it correctly? And do you know anything about EVIL RYU's METSU GO HADO (The Red Charging energy ball). Can it be charged or something? Where is it useful? Because all I can do is charge it, and then follow up with a combo like, Jumping Kick+Hard Punch+Hurricane Kick.

a groove combos seem kinda weak. They're good i mean but Im talking about damage wise. Did the Custom combos get watered down in damage compared to SFA3?

Are the combos being preformed on default gamespeed? Just wondering, because at the two arcades that I go to both CvS2 machines are on different speeds(One is default, the other is a little faster). Not that it would affect the combos too much, but it wouldn't hurt to know.
How do you do the SRK motion repeatedly on the controller? I've watch some people at Evo play with a stick and they seem to do the QCF motion over and over.

EO stands for "easy operation" or "extreme offense"
But no worries about that, since the video has nothing to do with the EO version...
In the video, all the combos come from the Playstation 2 version. There is a xbox and gamecube version also, but the PS2 version I think is better... >_>

There is no footage from the EO version. Every combo here is done with the Playstation 2 version which is CVS2, not CVS2EO.
I love the video, made me laugh out loud a few times as well.
I couldn't help but shout "Pwned" at the Eagle vs Kyosuke match at the end. Please tell me that wasn't set up =D

Video poster claims that all combos were done in Single, VS, or Ratio modes, but for some strange reason it's showing all the stats like he was doing them in Practice mode, not to mention the C Groove bar refills instantly after using a lvl 2 super move.
Great job.
There were a few nice combo's in there (I like the one with eagle vs. Kyosuke, very innovative and nice that the very last hit of the super killed). There are many though where the damage for them can be quite a bit higher for some. Overall very nice though :)
@SaikyoMog you're right, looking at the attacks it just needs some proper timing and accurate input. i'm guessing he used a controller for these? cause given enough practice these combos can be easily done using a controller

Burnyourworkers read my comment carefully. I never said that he was using GC-ISM. But I think he was using it. How could he preform special attacks (Like Iori's Uppercuts at 1:17) so flawlessly without messing up even once? nad by the way, what did you use to record this from your TV, if it was from your TV?

This video was on an old playlist and was among the first combo videos I ever watched. I was blown away by the skill and I still am.
I then found out he had passed after watching this and saw the memorial video. For what it's worth after all this time, I'm sorry for your loss. I've also lost a friend about his age to cancer a similar time ago (February 2017) and I still think about him. I hope you and your family are doing well and keeping Jeremy's memory alive 🖤

Yes, however, there were multiple MP3s used, and I also have some unused versions. So you would just be downloading one big MP3 instead of the actual song (which I have) and the remixes used (both in the video and not in the video)..

wit "A" groove...how do u activate the combo meter so fast...like wit bison...i seen pple can do his sweep...then activate the combo meter before the opponent touches the ground...how do u activate it that fast?
Kick butt and do well! I'm planning to throw one too using the PS2 console though...not the best one but the only one I can get my hands on.
It is way better than any fighter nowadays......very satisfying when you hit, the moves, the play styles, character listings, "grooves" and sound effects!
