finally, Morrigan Sprite in 4K
Those stage intros were something else. The highway accident one is probably my favorite as it gives you a stylized three second backstory of how it happened. I wish more fighting games had this feature.
It is a SIN that this game isnt available on current gen console hardware... with good netcode. Capcom vs. SNK 1+2 + SvC Chaos... if you love both Capcom and SNK these games are the pinnacle of everything.
What REALLY needs to happen is Capcom vs SNK 3

Capcom really took a page from SNK's book for these special intros. They're great
Funny how both CVS1 and MVC1 had better presentation and "aura" while CVS2 and MVC2 had better and wilder gameplay :p
So true. Capcom drew us in with such an epic presentation in the first game... then, had time to refine the gameplay and overall experience in the sequel. SFIII: 3rd Strike also joins this list - as I really love the presentation / backgrounds / sound of SFIII: New Gen & 2nd Impact. ;)
I think every single stage in CVS1 was so much better than the pseudo 3D stuff we got for part 2, really had awesome atmosphere.
Same with Rival Schools (anime intro and ending, loading screens, and fully voiced dialogues) and Project Justice (better gameplay and bigger roster)!

Having Ryo and Ryu on that stage is genius..see, if you look to the left side of the Kyokugen Dojo stage...you see, Ryu's stage from SFA1.
Makes me miss these amazing sprites all the more.

Not too surprising. Ken and Terry are my two mains in their respective series. (Although Terry is my main over Ken if forced to choose, like in Smash Ultimate. And I know, Frank, you don't consider Smash a "real" fighting game but to each their own).

The stages, presentations, & intros before the stages were awesome, which is something part 2 didn't have plus the stages are better than part 2 & you had more stages. Why all this wasn't in part 2 was just plain dumb. SVC Chaos was trash
