Light of the Seven - Game of Thrones (Piano Version)
Piano Version by Patrik Pietschmann
On multiple request, I have dedicated myself to the very popular piece "Light of the Seven" from the "Game of Thrones (Season 6)" soundtrack. It was composed by Ramin Djawadi. I particularly like the slightly dissonant sound, which gives the music a very mystical and dramatic character. The original track is almost 10 minutes long. Since some repeated sections in the original piece only vary slightly and some Fermata are held very long, I have decided to compress the piece a bit.
Any suggestions for future arrangements? Please leave them in the comments. - Hudba

Oh my god. I waited so long for this! Thank you :D
Patrik Pietschmann thank you
I got so happy about it, then I wasn't anymore... the track is unavailable in Brazil. Why Patrick? 😭
Love you man
Hi Patrick! Thank you for the music sheet. I was reviewing it and there seems to be a discrepancy between what’s written and what you play on the video on 4:55-4:57. You might want to correct the music sheet. Thanks!
This piece gives me chills every time. It's so elegant, but with *just* enough discord to give the impression that something is horribly, horribly wrong....
Very nice description. Softcore word porn
It's cuz everytime the piano plays in game of thrones, something extremely wrong will happen
Right. It’s beautiful, but if you know the scene this was played over, it’s haunting
@@matilda6851 Right. KA-BOOM
@Mr Culec It SO does.
The best scene they did. The first 9 minutes of that episode was far, far better then the whole of season 8.
Outland I actually liked season 8
Well said!
Season 8 felt rushed to me. I didn't enjoy it as much as the others.
Well seasons 8 was worse than a fucking dumpster fire lol
This scene is the best thing of GoT
As soon as you heard that piano, you knew something was coming. The piano was one instrument that really hadn’t been used in any scores in the previous seasons. Such a magnificent piece and a freaking chills-inducing way to introduce that episode. And this is a beautiful cover. Talented pianist right here, what a gift.
Rule of thumb with GOT, if you hear the music, you know something is about to go down
@@iblune72 if you hear a piano, some twist is gonna happen.
It wasn’t even a piano it was a gorgon which made it much more memorable
@@saviourfade6849 I think you meant organ haha! I looked up “gorgon instrument” waiting to be blown away by this mysterious thing I’d never heard of!
But you’re right. The organ made it…spectacular.

My poor queen.
Don't know if it has been mentioned, but can we all just take a second to appreciate how well the Main Theme of GoT is woven into this piece.
Exactly my thoughts mate
I think every song has elements of the main theme.
The composer wove the main theme into a lot of pieces. I am fairly sure it is also in "Rains of Castamere"
Guiding theme
When you hear the main melody in this piece. You realise it is the show's theme inverted!!
The beat dropped harder than tommen and bran combined

Z,;:
How long have you been playing for?
It took me close to a year as well. But if its any motivation to keep trying, it took maybe a couple weeks to "redevelop"(in my case) the muscle memory to where i could play it-ish...
But yeah, a year and you can play this without sheets...this and about 8, maybe 10 others if you mix it up and nerd it like i did. I have been playing since i was 8. Im 36.
And by that im only implying that I've had more practice. You should consider trying...I know ppl...kids even, playing 3 or 4 years, and they've either reached and or totally surpassed what i gathered all my life.
They're maybe being "bred" idk. I hope not.

Anyway, i hope you kept or decide to try learning again, if you're just getting started.

Good point.
OMG TRUEEEEEE
0:20 Easy so far, I could do this
2:00 Nevermind
You can do 2:00 just have to train your right hand
DerTob how tf can I train myself like that I never had lessons
Most of the piece is relatively easy to learn up to 4:19. At 2:00 you have a repeating chord base whilst your right hand does most of the work. At 4:19 it becomes difficult as you have two hands moving at once.
