You asked for it several times, now you get it! The soundtracks from the LOTR trilogy by Howard Shore have countless wonderful themes that could be turned into a 20-minute piano medley. My goal was rather to present you the best of these soundtracks in a short and crisp version. For this, I have picked out what I think are the most important themes from the trilogy:
- The Shire Theme ("In Dreams"): 0:02, 1:11
- The Fellowship Theme: 0:50, 3:05
- Rohan Theme ("The Riders of Rohan"): 1:41
- Gondor Theme ("Minas Tirith"): 2:32
In addition, I've revised my effects and layout a bit. I hope you enjoy it!

Brings a tear to my eye. I raised my son alone and we would have, “Lord” nights and fall asleep on the couch to one of the three movies. This was something that went on for years. He’s all grown up now and off doing his own thing. I can’t watch any of the LOTRs now because it makes me miss those days too much.

"The Breaking of the Fellowship" has got to be one of the best pieces of music to exist in movies. I can imagine exactly what is happening at every point when listening. Masterpiece of a soundtrack.

These songs awaken the fantasy world inside my heart
As a father, I long for a day where I just have nothing to do for 15 hours and can just binge watch the extended versions of all the LotR movies. Some of the most iconic music ever put in a movie.
Time passes...but THIS will never grow out of time. What a masterpiece. I love LOTR and always will

The entire cast and crew threw their entire souls into these movies. If aliens gave us 10 hours to prove to them that humanity had an imagination worthy of existence in this universe, the only right course of action would be to sit them down with the Lord of the Rings, and keep the popcorn coming.
