Honestly, this makes a lot of sense. I've never understood why Yoda felt compelled to go into exile after his defeat by Sidious. It doesn't seem like enough of a situation for him to feel that way. But knowing he hid the Sith's return for a century only to be bested by them when the rest of the Jedi found out would make more sense. That would definitely add another load of guilt onto his shoulders.

could be funny if the jedi know about Darth Plagueis. Maybe they track him down, only to find him killed with a lightsaber. The Jedi don't know that Palpatine killed him. But they probably know more about Plagueis. Maybe even that he tried to save others from a certan death.

I think they will show Darth Plageuis possibly at the end of this show, he's too recognizable a character. Also if you look at thrawn, his entire appearance was not changed at all in his own Live-Action appearance in the *Ahsoka* series, just his whole backstory, was tweaked to fit in Disney Starwars Canon, from EU. that's what i believe they will do here, when all those Jedi show up in the Acolyte trailer, that one hand that catches the red lightsaber; that's either the "Acolyte" figure themselves, possibly Amandla Stenberg, or some other fallen Jedi. But that quick shot of a red kind of mist, and all those Jedi being force-thrown back, that i believe is Darth Plageuis revealing himself, and he will be all CGI, thanos style i reckon. He will possibly take them all out, he may even have his big lightsaber staff.
I can absolutely see Disney going for something like this, that's the big reveal and Leslie Headland did say they've borrowed from the EU and there will be the odd bit of Fan-service, i think that's what she's referring to. they'll just tweak Plageuis age i think to fit their specific timeline.

A dark jedi is a jedi that simply embraces the dark side, a sith is a whoooole other ballgame. I have a feeling the Acolyte is going to be a means to an end for the Sith, just like Asaj was to Duku and Palpatine. The Sith are known to groom and hone the Darkside in force sensitives to become assassins. There's a very good chance this is just a story following the Acolyte as she's on her personal revenge mission and the Sith that are around are just sitting back and watching the chaos unfold with minor appearances here and there to either guide her or scold her 2 weeks ago Only round table I wanna hear discuss this topic!! I can't love this theory more. Y'all got my gears going! 11 days ago If you actually read the Darth Plagueis novel it says his master Darth Tenebrous and his master sent a surge through The Force that let the Jedi know that something was beginning to happen. 13 days ago Didn’t the Jedi council also cover up by sending Quinlan Vos to assassinate Dooku? Do you keep track of my poops?
2 weeks ago (edited) Idk bout to cover but he was foolish & high on hubris. He was around during the High Republic & the slaying of any remaining scattered Sith. He was aware of the Rule Of Two but downplayed it over time It’s always possible by destroying the there could be no balance. There can be 10,000 Jedi knights, but we can’t have one Sith? Wielding a red blade =/= Sith Let's hope the Acolyte is as good as these theories. They were awaiting the return of the Sith empire. They didn’t want situations like Dooku joining them. How much more evidence that the prequel Jedi were shady do we need for people to get it? There is something that makes no sense in the Palpatin/Anakin dialogue: Palpatine:
Did you ever hear the Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise? Anakin: No. Palpatine: I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith so powerful and so wise, he could use the Force to influence the midi-chlorins to create...life. He had such a knowledge of the Dark Side, that he could even keep the ones he cared about...from dying. If Plagueis was Palpatine´s master it means that the event described is no more than 50 years old, so, why is a Sith Leyend? According Sith have been extinct for a millennium, if the Sith return in secret, why should anyone know about this legend, so, the Jedi would never talk about it because it never happened, at least in the known history, so there is a cannon hole This is such a cool theory that would make it enjoyable to watch. Have they explicitly stated that this series takes place before the Clone Wars? Could be this post-Skywalker saga when the memory of the Sith may have died off. 3 days ago They probably thought they were just dark Jedi I'm hoping it is a Sith Lord but I am prepared for it being a red herring and it's just a dark side user. Question Do they only re-use the same clips of Doug or do you use that gentleman every couple of months? Love the channel I think they thought they killed them 5 days ago
I am a big Star Wars fan. I noticed that the dark side of the force has these abilities that the Jedi doesn’t. Anakin was swayed to the dark side because of the possible ability to bring the dead back to life. That is why I prefer the Darkside because of the abilities that come with it. The Jedi seems to be limited. WTF is wrong with people?! I saw TPM in the theater in 99 and even then I could tell that the CLEAR implication, when Ki-Adi delivers that line, is that the Sith HAD, in fact, existed the whole time and that the Jedi, in their hubris, were just flat-out wrong about them having ever gone away. If Ki-Adi had been correct then where would Palps have come from? Do people really think that the Sith were gone for a thousand years and then some random politician from Naboo, Palpatine, just one day decided to start this ancient order back up again? NO! That's ridiculous, the obvious implication is that the Sith had been hiding in the shadows the whole time, waiting, biding their time for the opportune moment to strike--unbeknownst to the Jedi. I swear, some people just deliberately look for things to complain about; as a huge lifelong SW fan I've literally NEVER seen anyone interpret that line of dialogue as gospel until recently, when it became trendy to s**t on The Acolyte. Have people never heard of an unreliable narrator!?!? FOOLS!!! Several Jedi masters were on the council during the prequel trilogy that were also alive during the high Republic era Wouldn’t it be cool if Yoda had dabbled in the dark side and decided that it wasn’t for him but on his way back to the light he decided to leave no witnesses hence the cover-up? BITH LORD WAS SUPER SOLID AND I APPRECIATE THAT JOKE SO MUCH I think all of this would truly be amazing. However, I'm not sure we can count on Disney and their writers to have the foresight to be this good. But yes, I would love it. The Dark Side clouds everything. 1.09, OMG. funny AF Gah, I just love Star Wars so much. Ryan, thanks as always for the dope content. Another thought on this. That line from Palpatine "It's not a story the Jedi would tell you", is very damning and lines up well with this theory of cover-ups. But what if all of these cover-ups are because the Sith are manipulating Jedi? I mean, it is something that very evil people would do. Don't teach about the past because it could diminish the story you tell about yourself, get rid of the people who look at these things and maybe even discredit them, then finally make sure you make it look like it was all someone else's idea. It's what the devil would do, and what Republicans are trying to do. We've only seen the trailer so there's no evidence if the person is a Sith, but if the person with the red blade is a fallen Jedi instead of a Sith, the Jedi order could very easily wave it off as a Jedi who lost their way, not the existence of any further Sith order. Yoda used to try and take my lunch in 3rd grade If he directly hid the knowledge, that would upset me. Yoda has always been presented as did the best he could, but never directly chose to deceive... I hope we see some legends stuff in this next new series!
