What is your favourite guitar of all time?
Gibson Les Paul Custom
early 1959 Gibson Les Paul
Jackson Model 6.
My 1977 Telecaster which I bought brand new as a 16 year old, from my first good paying summer job. Had to sell it a few years later as I needed money, worst decision ever. I put Seymour Duncans in it, refinished the body and put on a chrome pickguard. Man I miss that old axe.
Martin D-18
The tour guide seems to be such a sound guy, you can see he really loves his job and wants to give us a great tour
Agreed! Thanks ever so much!
@@Producelikeapro you rock , don't ever stop, I'm a new sub er, love your studio! Warren your a true legend!
Frank Navarro is not only the most humbled person but he knows about guitars!
OMG Talk about the ultimate toy shop/candy store!
Yes!! Indeed
I love Sweetwater. They've been directly involved in helping me through most of the poor financial decisions I've made in the past 15 years!
Thanks ever so much for sharing Beavis!
Sweetwater sales service is outstanding. Guitars arrive with superb playability
Thanks ever so much for sharing
Yea, you can really see that they are going for a mom and pop kind of thing, but on a much larger scale of course. Not easy to achieve! You Americans are lucky to have Sweetwater!
Yes, indeed! Thanks for sharing!
A very iconic lineup, but you can always expect that from them! In-depth and solid as always guys!
Much appreciated! You rock, as always!!
The host is AMAZING, what a nice guy. All the process and attention to detail is incredible.
Sweetwater's guitar shop was entrusted with restoring my 1955 Martin D-28. I could have sent it back to Martin, but with my previous experiences with the Sweetwater team, I had complete confidence in their abilities.
Wow! Thanks ever so much
Loving this series. Really glad to not see the impressive operation but also just how the company has touched many lives through their service
Yes, very well said! Thanks ever so much
Warren acting like Lee Chapman (his employee) is just an ordinary viewer leaving a nice comment?!? Warren got busted by Bad Hair Detective for sending winnings to Belarus and stealing over $40,000 from the prize fund. He also censors comments on CZcams to control what people see. This guy is a complete charlatan!
Great stuff. Very personalized service. Service is so important, you will always keep the customer satisfied when the service is good. Cheers for the video
Yes! Thanks for sharing Joey
Great tour. Thanks for taking the time to show us. I ordered my dream guitar through these guys in February. It's an Amber Martin D41 and it is now a part of my family forever and will be the guitar my girls fight over when I die. I still spring out of bed most mornings 4AM to run and play it. It arrived in perfect shape and I was provided explicit instruction on when and how to open it, designed to protect the guitar. Many thanks to Henry and the fine folks at Sweetwater!
Thanks ever so much Ron for sharing!
I love Sweetwater...but what makes the most difference is having a sales engineer. Toni Bush-Nord is mine and she's the best. Any questions or advice are addressed with unqualified satisfaction. Thanks Sweetwater and Toni!
Thanks ever so much for sharing your experience
These tour videos of Sweetwater were cool. I just ordered a new bass from them last night and was curious about their operation since I was able to actually pick the serial number, etc. Found lots of videos on YT when I searched for a Sweetwater tour but clicked the ones you had up super fast and first because I love the videos you do.
I work in the Guitar Gallery, so surreal seeing you walk around the area I work and talking to people I know lol, considering I started watching you in 2016 when I was I audio school 😅
Dude, I was working in third line while this was going on. I saw them filming and lost my mind haha
@@mattreish hey dude! Yeah I work second shift and had no idea they were coming lol Sean showed me a picture he took with him.
@@mattreish haha Thanks ever so much!
@@TheBigDean18 Thanks ever so much! It was a great time!
I’ve purchased quite a few pieces of gear from Sweetwater, most recently a Gibson Explorer. The guitar arrived PERFECTLY dialed. And I’m a luthier myself!…I’m a stickler for the details!…Sweetwater nailed it. I’m currently awaiting my new ‘58 Korina V. Can’t wait! It’s awesome to see the inner workings of the company in the video. They are passionate about their craft.
Wow! Thanks ever so much for sharing. I really appreciate it
How cool, really glad you did this. A couple friends and I made the trek from Detroit to Fort Wayne a month ago just to see the showroom. (and buy goods of course!) I like this company even more now.
Pro tip for others who go: Stop in at Hop River Brewing for a pint!
Thanks ever so much for sharing, especially the pub! Haha
Such a great and informative tour! Really well done! Thanks a lot for all the hard work to put this together!
Thanks ever so much Ken!
Although I hate that Mom & Pop shops have all but died, Sweetwater is such an amazing team and company. Hopefully the ownership change keeps what made them great!
Thanks ever so much for sharing!
Wow.. Julie is doing some really serious work on a quite expensive guitar.. :D it´s impressive.. :D
Agreed 100%!
A science fiction guitar world made real. A wonder of our times. Good for you sweet water! And to you too friend, your CZcams channel is mind blowing!
Thanks ever so much Hector! I really appreciate it!
Best Sweetwater video by far, enjoyed every minute of it.
Thanks ever so much Frank
Awesome job everyone!! Now let's see an AMS tour!!
Now that’s a wonderful idea
I bought two guitars from Sweetwater. I was skeptical about buying a guitar online but was pleased with my purchases. I did give both the 24 hours.
Thanks ever so much for sharing your experience!
Totally outstanding !!
Great vid Warren, I bet you were blown away....
Every purchase I have made from Sweetwater came with a check of my total satisfaction from them.
They are a superior company !!!
Thanks ever so much Doug!
Good job on manager acknowledging employees, contributions, names and anniversaries! How a company treats it most valuable asset is so important.
Yes, agreed 100%!
That was great covering all of the options and inspections and modifications Sweetwater provides.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love ordering online and visiting Sweetwater!!! Shout out to Luke my Rep!!!!
Marvellous! Thanks ever so much for sharing
I get most of my music equipment from Sweetwater as I don't think any other online site has come close to the experience and service that I've been given by them. The personalized picture system for guitars is so cool. Prices are great. The demo listings are a huge money saver and they are extremely open about why the item is considered a demo with ZERO surprises. Shipping is instant. I have a personal Sweetwater agent that calls me and emails me to confirm purchases and check in on how I like the gear that I bought. Also can't forget the candy bag!
This amazing, another level for real.
Man, that was FASCINATING!!!
Glad you enjoyed it Scott!
i walked in off the street with a fender strat that i'd bought used from a guitar center. i'd changed the strings and cleaned it up. the guitar tech i talked to about it spent SO long adjusting the set up for me while we talked about the guitar -- it was amazing. I played a lot of other guitars that day and bought a new ride cymbal for my daughter's elec. drum kit. fantastic day. oh, yeah, has anyone mentioned the french fries? ; )
and i'm a model of restraint: i only have nine guitars in the house!
also: just mentioned this to my daughter, this process explains A LOT about how clean and playable all the guitars in the showroom always are! Brilliant! (have you ever gone into a guitar center and picked a popular model off the wall and noticed how grubby and disgusting it was only to have the sales guy tell you about how they change the strings once a month on all the guitars in the store? "Pants on fire!")
Thanks ever so much for sharing that Lisa!
And this all began with one Guy in a Van with a Dream. Amazing!
Yes, it all has to start somewhere!
The one thing that sticks out to me in every single video I've watched of Sweetwaters guitar gallery, is the overwhelming amount of boxes that say Epiphone on them. From Kramers to Montana built acoustics, and everything in between. I Wonder what the percentage of products under the Gibson umbrella is, in what's probably the world's largest guitar gallery? Gotta be 25-30%. Awesome.
Good question! It does of course less about what they ‘sell’ and more what people are ‘buying’. There’s a ton of videos online taking about what amazing value Epiphone are for instance
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Sweetwater.. awesome team !!
Thanks ever so much!
THIS IS SOOOOOOO AWESOME!!!!
Marvellous! Thanks Uriel!
Just amazing! I'm out of speech! Great company!
Thanks ever so much
I've purchased two nice guitars from sweet water very happy with them, I also just bought the Catylest 200 watt line amp love it.
Thanks ever so much for sharing!
Great Sweetwater video. Had know idea they did modifications. Would have been nice to know on my last guitar purchase. 🎸
Pretty amazing to see all this. I have always heard about Sweetwater's inspection process, but i didn't know about the customization or Plekking options, which are great. If I was going to buy a brand new guitar online, I'd probably go with Sweetwater if they carried that specific guitar. It's a massive operation. The scale of what they're doing is much bigger than whatever I had in my head. Very interesting vide. Thanks Warren!
Thanks ever so much Larry! Yes, it's quite impressive indeed!
Wow! Great tour! Yes, way better than Disney. ❤
Haha thanks Audrey
Fascinating!
Thanks ever so much
This is going to be fun
Yes! So much fun
FANTASTIC LOVE SWEETWATER😍😍😍😍😍
Thank you! Cheers!
From here in the UK I always somehow thought that Sweetwater was named after a town called Sweetwater in Florida! But get this, during the lockdown I tried to get a guitar shipped via Sweetwater to the UK but was told they don’t ship overseas so all this mountain of gear is I presume destined for for the home US market! That gives an indication of the size of the USA.
Haha thanks ever so much for sharing Paul!
Sweetwater..what a place!!! 😲🌠👏👏
Thanks ever so much!
Wow!!!
Nothing to add!
Best wishes
Thank you! Cheers!
27:39 Guitar BOUNCES several times after hitting the floor and the narrator doesn't miss a beat or says anything to the Reboxing guy. LOL!
nice work to so
how all the works cool thank you .
Glad you enjoyed it!
Everytime I buy a guitar from Sweetwater Ethan calls me within 10 minutes to confirm my order, talk specs, and see if I need anything else etc. Top notch customer service at that facility! 💯
That's amazing to hear!
I'm so impressed with Sweetwater!
That’s wonderful to hear
Sweet water I’ve bought a few high end guitars …they do a fine job…of ensuring it’s packed carefully…and will check over the instrument….for imperfections…if a small scratch or anomaly they will sell it for less as I got a les Paul reduced by 300 bucks for a few small almost unnoticeable scratches..very well organized place ..hope it remains that way🤙🏻
Thanks ever so much for sharing Lee!
Great video as always.
Thanks ever so much
This is bonkers
Haha yes, it is!
Dream job!❤
Marvellous!
5 Stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Thanks ever so much!
Sweetwater is amazing I’m there several days a week it’s my local hangout.
Thanks ever so much for sharing
Love Sweetwater!
Marvellous
Your photographer makes it seem like a movie we'll done
Thanks ever so much for sharing Brandon!
Could it be? Warren is secretly a vampire. He has to be invited haha @05:34
A vampire? I wish! Haha
@@Producelikeapro LOL immortal riffs ! XD
@@Projacked1 haha
Thanx Warren.....I have always been impressed with Sweetwater's front line customer service....but based on this! ....I had no fri%✓®n idea!
Haha agreed! Thanks ever so much!
Hi there from Australia 🦘 I really enjoyed your video your walk through Sweetwater 🇭🇲👍🙏
Thanks ever so much!
Guitar Center should be watching this video.
Exactly. When I buy a new Schecter and it comes in a Fender box with not even an Allen wrench. Left me with a bad taste in my mouth. And they wonder why they're in trouble.
Thanks, I had no idea that Sweetwater had such a great Guitar Shop, I have some guitars I need to send them.
Neither did I!
I'd have to say my Strandberg Boden. One of the only guitars I've owed that I didn't modify. Yes, I've spent a few dollars at Sweetwater.😁
Aha! Thanks for sharing
absolutely nuts!
The level of detail is quite insane!
@@Producelikeapro i don't think there's ever been another instrument to incite such passion as the electric guitar. and for good reason.
@@Tryggvasson agreed 100%!
I would be pitching a tent walking down just one of those aisles.
Haha no comment
Brrrrrr! This was a great video. Interesting company :)
It was quite chilly indeed!
and that's just guitars..... wow!
YES!!
At 27:40, u can almost see the soul of the guy who knocked the lil guitar on the floor leave his body before he got fired. Thankfully, his soul survives, and it'll make it to work the next day. I'll NEVER buy a guitar from ANYONE other than Sweetwater. I've bought many (I've never been married so my dog doesn't give a shit what I spend my money on) guitars from them, and have gotten to know a couple of the guys personally. They're simply amazing. It look overwhelming on camera, but the couple guys I know actually DO take pride in checking them out before they ship, whether it's a Squire or a Martin....Kudos to Sweetwater, and 'Atta Boy to Mr Warren for braving the cold Ft. Wayne winter...
Thanks ever so much for your wonderful comment!
@@Producelikeapro You're very welcome and deserving. Why you don't have more subscribers is a damn mystery to me and criminal. Good job with the cold as I mentioned...I grew up just a couple hours from Ft. Wayne, and I left there nearly 25 years ago. As I often say, even a BIRD has enough damn sense to fly south lol. I hope all is well with you and yours, and wish you continued success!
“Here…let me pickup this sold guitar and scratch it with my zippers.” Lol
The tension was palpable.
On the subject of huge stashes/collections/inventories of guitars and stringed instruments, will there be an episode about David Lindley, who passed away 3/3/23? Surely, like his friend and frequent collaborator Ry Cooder, Lindley is someone who changed music?
Well worth the time. If you were ever wondering if Sweetwater can add value to a guitar purchase, have a seat and enjoy the show!
Thanks ever so much! I really appreciate it
Love watching them drop the guitar
Very nice !!!
I ordered a Epi LP Jr in '20.
Wait was so long with the stuff going on, I wanted to cancel.
"Its Shipping!!!"
'send it..... 'packed right and set up right. It's great.
This last year, i order a IBG Epi Firebird.
Only ZZZs had it in stock. Ordered.....pak'd like trash,,,,,inner box rattling.....should have refuesed it but hoped for the best.
Worked then didn't.
Fixed and rox now.
SW has this nailed Down !!!
Thanks ever so much for sharing your experience
@@Producelikeapro ha, guess what,,,,the output jack that was done locally is acting up again.
If i had gotten the FB thru SW, it would have saved me so much grief,,,,,,makes in the mood for some Grief ;(
I’m only 6 hours from there, I wonder if they have a lp studio in stock?
1. I've bought so much stuff from Sweetwater I think I paid for the building 2. I want every guitar there !
Haha I hear you
Really cool. I can't imagine what it takes to climate-control a building that size, and one located in the midwest.
Insane I'm sure! Thanks ever so much!
Imagine THE COST!!!
Really cool they have Plek services
Very, pretty darn amazing!
jay without silent bob is now inspecting guitars at sweetwater, I see. Cool!
I suspect Lily, the Gibson Factory liaison, is the busiest person in the Sweetwater guitar area given the current state of Gibson QC.
😁
These tour videos are great, makes me wish there was a Sweetwater in every city 😂
Thanks ever so much!
Someone definetly snuck in Ram Ranch at 11:35 😳
Wonder if that was my AJ sig they fondled? I've heard they had a 50 unit allotment. Funny story, all those guitars have improperly installed nuts. They used the standard width preslotted Epiphone LesPaul nuts on them. Problem is, those guitars have custom 3pc.maple necks that require a narrower nut. 6061 is the proper Graphtech part number. They put 6060's on them all, and sanded the excess off the low E side. So they're not centered properly and the low E string ends up right on the edge of the first fret. Pretty shitty on an $1299 dollar guitar.
Yes!The candy bearer!!🤖🛸
Haha indeed!
5:40 😳🌪
.This is why ,when i order from here, my basses and guitars and drums its always good...
Marvellous
That beginner Epiphone looks sick!!🤖🛸
Yes, it does!
I have my own tech but this nice for some with out a tech and price is fair
Marvellous
Ha that light guitar pedal!
Thanks ever so much!
Having everything under one roof from luthiers to guitar techs to shipping & distribution makes things much more efficient I'm sure.
Indeed, my thoughts exactly
I shudder to think how much stuff I've bought from there over the years. It's definitely in the dozens
I hear you!!
I love G&L rampages
I know the guys who run that company very well and I love what they do! Bruce really is one the most knowledgable guys in the world! burbankaudiosystems.com
Just ordered Remo skins when I know damn well I could've went to the local shop to pick out what I needed. Why you ask? That friggin candy and most excellent sales reps anywhere.🤖🛸
Haha thanks for sharing David!
Thanks for showing us Santa's workshop. 👍
Haha yes, indeed Ryan!
Reminds me the Matrix scene when Keanu chooses fireguns...
Haha nice analogy!
It is like the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark
Haha I hear you!! Except you can actually what’s in the crates!
So just remember, people, buy that guitar you want and support all these great American jobs! G.A.S. is good for the economy!
Haha thanks Loren!
I'm not a guitar guy at all, yet enjoyed this episode nonetheless. Very nice.
Thanks ever so much
Sweetwater looks amazing . Only thing I'm afraid of is they turn into GC . Back in the late 90's I used to shop at small Ma and Pop shops . They were cool but to be honest , never had much selection and could only offer 3 month financing 0% interest . When you are 20 years old and playing music , having inspiring gear in your hands matters so much . Guitar Center offered 12 month 0% interest . They had a better selection and in the beginning they hired knowledgeable musicians . Then GC got bought out by Bain capital :( They drop wages and so the experienced help left for a living wage and they started hire anybody . Greed will eventually seep into Sweetwater and start infesting like mold through the company . It always happens . Good thing as of now , we are enjoying that sweet spot .
