Earlier this week I bet my stream I could beat my personal record number of chess puzzles completed. It definitely came down to the wire...but did I succeed? Check it out! - Hry

12:07 A new tab opens when you look up a specific puzzle. So just switch the tab to get back to your recent puzzle rush. I think it's necessary to see the solutions or try the puzzles you got wrong again for educational and satisfactional reasons.
Great comment, was trying to find some of those on my own but it's hard when you don't have the analysis / confirmation to back it up.

Yeah. But puzzle 20 and 26 sucked. Puzzle 20: g6 Kf5 g7 Ra8 h7 Ra1 Kh4 Kf4 Kh3 Kf3 Kh2 Ra2+ Kh3 Ra1 etc. is a draw. So g6 was the best winning attempt, but still a draw as Kg6. In puzzle 26: Rf6: looses an exchange. White should not reply with Rf6:?? but instead play Bc3 as he feared. Then after Qe3:+ Qe2 Qe2:+ Ke2: black loses R on f6.... It is a hard puzzle. If d5 to catch Nf6, then Nd5:. To me d6 ot Nd4 seem the best options for black and not hoping for Rf6:? Rf6:??? They should've started the puzzle at a move later.
@@schmetterlingsjaeger Yeah you're right, the 2 pawn vs rook endgame is drawn. Kg6 and g6 both will result in the same.
I agree that Bc3 should be played in the other puzzle, but Black has a way getting out ahead: After the line you mentioned 1...Rf6 2. Bc3 Qxe3+ 3. Qe2 you follow it up with 3...Qxc3+! 4.bxc3 Re6!. The endgame should be winning for black, having 2 pieces for the rook.

Theres no stalemate, rook takes is forced, nowhere else for it to move without being taken

9:30 the pawn is pinned by the bishop it's checkmate in 1. You just take the pawn with the Queen and the other pawn can't take back because of the dark squared bishop.

What you need to remember in rush is that the computer makes moves that make no sense
27:40 You take with the rook with the Queen. After the bishop comes out to pin, you simply move the knight to e5 and unpin.

Fuck me dude, I was all about that "knight unpins" but I kept putting it at E4, I think you meant D5 in your explanation.

24: Queen take rook --> knight to D5 to cover from bishop. That's my guess.

19 is Queen takes h6 the pawn is pinned. So its checkmate
24: just Nd4 the pawn is pinned and can't take then you take the rook with your queen and win the game.

Anybody got a solution for the last one? I thought sacking the queen like NL did was forced checkmate after E pawn takes knight, but no the bastard can escape to f8.
