Welcome to Skate Tales, Madars Apse’s new series journeying through skateboarding’s wilder shores. Madars Apse begins his trip by traveling to Pennsylvania to meet up with the iconic Bam Margera and check out his skate barn and a brand new ramp. Bam invited Madars and the ripping Loy brothers, Ethan and David, to check out some of his old stomping grounds, like Philadelphia’s iconic Love Park. That was followed by a trip to his brand-new indoor park during an open-house skate party with some of the Westchester locals.

Steve O said in a interview a few days ago that Bam still has a ton of work to do to get better and that he and the rest of the cast aren’t sure if being on the Jackass set is the right thing for him rn. He didn’t outright say Bam won’t be in it but it didn’t sound promising. 😕

This was really well put together. Even though Bam was injured at the time and was upset he couldn't skate, he didn't have to to make the production better. just the legacy alone and his character as a person made this awesome
Brought me to tears at the end bro. From the area and literally looked up to him so much growing up. You captured a fair picture of his life experience in a small visit. From his decks to his struggles to his history of skating and why he is a legend. it’s so awesome the tone that was captured I hope bam stays on this path

Like many of us, I grew up with Bam and Jackass. I was around 13 when Viva La Bam was on TV. Used to play all the Tony Hawk Games. Watched everything the Jackass crew put out. Crazy times. Its nostalgic and sad in a way but that's life. I just hope Bam is around for a long time. He deserves to have a long life for Ryan Dunn...

Bam margera and Ryan shecklers shows are a big reason why I started skating I’ve been skating for 13 years now and have loved every bit of it.
I watch this video almost every night and I'm not even really sure why. Always been a huge fan of Bam and this is very well produced and fun video. And it just makes me feel good watching it for some reason

Been watching Bam since Landspeed in '99 at my buddies house after skating all day, man I miss the 90s. This was a big ol' dose of nostalgia in a different kind of way. I love that Bam's doing much better now, Ryan passing away wrecked him for years but it's amazing that he opened up his freaken house for people to come hang out with him. Truly awesome.

He's just going through a midlife crisis he can't handle his fame dwindling as well as his oldest friends not wanting to party anymore. He just needs to slow down and transition into the next stage of life. But it's not because of Dunn.

He became like a skater godfather, its great to see that he is still in the community. Okay so I randomly decided to binge my VLB collection the other day and I’m wrapping up Season 3 right now and decided to look him up. Honestly, this shit made me feel. After seeing the chaos that is the show, and the dynamic with Dunn and just knowing everything this kid went through, this was greatly satisfying to see. Seeing the same house and Phil made me so genuinely happy. This was like coming home.
The end hit a soft spot! Sk8 or die! I just recently started skating again after like 12 years, I regret every second without my board!
Love this. Cuz anyone who has been following him since before Jackass, hell even early jackass knows that Bam is a good dude with a huge heart. Super happy to see him getting back to what he loves, being sober, and most of all being happy again.
