I use ground walnuts instead of almond flour for cocoa crust . Good for keto cheesecake too. But I've not made a peanut butter pie yet. Can't wait to make this!

I just watched a video a few days ago about "folding". The guy used the mixer instead of folding and the stuff came out literally the same. I've always hated folding; you can also use a mixer to mix half the whipped with PB, then fold the other half in. Anyway, if you want to firm up this pie, you can add some cream cheese to it, OR melt some gelatin and incorporate it into the whipped cream.
I watched that, too! Adam...somebody's CZcams channel. I tried the mixer trick twice with a Keto Cloud Bread recipe I make regularly, and they weren't NEARLY as fluffy and stiff as when I folded them together. Not as scientific as Adam's video, but I'm convinced folding works better for that recipe. Results may vary. 🤷

Love a no bake pie especially since we’re in the upper 90’s, with the feels like temps in the 100’s here in Louisiana!! This looks absolutely amazing and delicious and can’t wait to try it!! Do have a question thou, when you were decorating the pie, it looked like you were using a can of cool whip, what kind of cool whip was that?? I draw the line at 4 carbs per serving, and this one is SEVEN (and the other channel's versions of this dessert say 7.5). I feel if a recipe is this high in carbs per serving, it would be important to point out in the video. Am I off base here? 🤷

Can you substitute with coconut flour or another flour
I haven’t tried making a no bake pie with coconut flour, I’ve only baked with it! I’ll test it out and see if I can get a recipe up with it. You should be able to, but coconut flour is much more drying so the crust may crumble.

Do you always have to use almonds?
That's to make it low carb for the keto diet. You're pretty well stuck making a nut crust on these type of things. There's probably another widely used substitute, but I can't think of it now.
