That looks so good. I think I would add a layer of strawberry jam on the cake before the buttercream. I love peanut butter/strawberry jam sandwiches

Just made this for Father's day because my step dad loves peanut butter. It was great! I think it would work amazingly with some jelly swirled in the frosting at the end! The frosting tasted like nutter butters which I love!! Thank you for teaching me how to bake!

I made it tonight. Very good. Surprisingly not sweet at all. Not as peanut buttery as I thought. It’s just enough. Nothing overpowers the other. Frosting is smooth and fluffy. Very good.

Made this twice now! This cake is outstanding! Not too peanutbuttery and the icing recipe is generous. Covers the cake easily and thick. We took our favorite plumb jelly and just added a spoonful on top and PB&J heaven!
Also, this freezes perfect! Bake once and enjoy multiple times! 🥰

Top tip for my natural peanut butter lovers: pour your new jar/tub of peanut butter into your stand mixer and mix (with paddle attachment) on low until oil has combined with PB... then turn the mixer up to med and mix for 3-5 mins. Pour back into jar/tub and you'll never have to mix it again. Magic

Ohhhhhhhh my! Will definitely make this one but make only HALF the icing. I was instructed to take my Vit D3 with fat and have been eating peanut butter n crackers - this will be much better! Thinks I'll pass it on to both my doctor and pharmacist to share with those who have difficulty with absorbing Vit D3.

Back in the day my school cafeteria had a 2 layer PB cake with frosting that was to DIIIIIIIIIIIE for! My God it was so good.🤤 Been looking online [unsuccessfully] for a recipe that seemed like it might be "the one". If the cake is as amazing as your peanut butter fudge recipe, count me in!! I have made so much fudge the past year for my sons college rugby team. It has become their good luck fudge! I'd like to claim it was the fudge that made them finish 3rd in the NATION last year! But, maybe there was a little rugby skill involved as well!! I topped the fudge with all kinds of toppings...crushed potato chips,Heath bars, cashews, dark chocolate, banana chips,granola... Was incredible! Even had a huge order for the fudge for a hospital Christmas function that had over 200 guests!!!. Cant wait to try the cake out! Will be incredible, Im sure.

I know someone in my house that is a peanut butter fanatic and you just gave me the best gift for them. Thank you! Btw, to get my cakes to not stick that I learned from my mom, is rubbing the pan down with coconut oil and then putting flour on top of the oil. She used lard though.
I love everything you make! I also love that you have no problem with laughing at yourself when something messes up. As kind of a clumsy baker, I totally appreciate that. I have 1 question…whenever you set something aside and slide it across your island, has anything slid off the other side? I tried that once and pushed my bowl of flour right off the edge. Laughed for about an hour straight. 😂😂

Really have to try this❣️ if anyone wants to try partly sugar free substitute with the frosting…”Swerve” confectioners sugar aka powdered sugar is a great choice! Same measurement, same taste…it’s amazing! During my keto phase, I tried a lot of products and found some pretty good products to bake with and eat.
