So, with today’s video we officially kick start Onam 2021. This Elayada recipe is my most favorite and is so nostalgic yet super easy for you to make at home. This Elayada is usually offered to ‘Thrikkarayappan’ during onam celebrations.

Ingredients:
Rice flour (fine powder, Idiyappam podi) 1½ cups (250gms)
Salt to taste
Boiling water as required
Coconut (grated) 1 large (2-3 loosely packed cups)
Jaggery 250gms to 300 gms
Water ¼ cup
Banana Leaves (cleaned, cut into pieces) 2-3 large
