How is that a flaw? That's perfect business. He got rid off the old guys with high market value and used the money from that and started a rebuild with younger talent which led us to win the 14th!! You always have to think ahead and not dwell in the past. That's how clubs die.

Nobody is above the club. Perez is absolutely cold in his management of the club. It’s why Madrid which is a club owned by its members are still financial stable unlike most other big clubs who need to sell to Arab or Russian billionaires to get money.
If you want to run the club successfully, you have to be ready to let go of your most important asset, when the right time comes
Maybe do some research and youll find plenty of legends who worked and/or currently working at the club after retiring as a player

The reality is money buys success. You can argue it is a well run club which I agree but please stop acting like Real Madrid perform miracles winning on tight budgets. Legends in this case are brought not built. By the time player get to Real Madrid they already reach a high level. There is a reason why Real Madrid brought the player. Oh so Raul, Casillas, Guti, Carvajal, Butrageno, Manolo Sanchis etc etc was not made by the club? What about the fact that Real Madrid youth academy reaching a CDR final in 1980 which is unprecedented i football history or winning 5 consecutive league trophies with the entire squad dominated by youth academy players (la quinta del buitre era)? Even current legends not originally from academy like Marcelo, Ramos, Casemiro etc came to the club since they where early teenagers. Madrid has also been the least spending club the last decade despite winning 5 CL trophies. Leave football to the adults.

If these players are not counted as made in Madrid, then frankly Puyol is not counted as Barca youth academy player which joined since he was 19. Meanwhile Barca are activating levers due to their spending spree and debt this last decade, never mind Man U, or oil clubs such as PSG, Man C etc. I seems to me you're very salty and envious due to Madrids dominance and success and well managed policies.
