About kai havertz : when your team is keeping clean sheet streaks and you are in a perfectly balanced squad with players like saka / Jesus/ trossard it is easy to gain confidence to start scoring . And it's not even that he has scored some world class goal or something , pretty average .
As a chelsea fan I firmly believe that 65 mil was a bargain and I would do it 10 more times , havertz is an average player , if his team performs , he performs , if the team doesn't perform he doesn't perform .
A stat to prove this ,in his 3 years at chelsea he has less goals than palmer has in one season, and the season ain't even finished yet . That too palmer is playing his first ever pro season , in a shaky chelsea squad , while havertz played in a champions league winning squad .
Havertz is doing well but he has some luck to be at Chelsea for a fairly brief period of struggle and ending in disaster but won the CL, CWC and Super Cup (narrowly missing out on several more) and then hangs around the goal in a surprisingly well functioning Arsenal team where any competent attacker would score lots!
You know the funny thing is, IF Arsenal win the rest of their games and City slips up against Spurs, Arsenal could also say they won the league at "white hart lane"... Because technically that is the place that pushes arsenal top. Lol
