I really like that cabinet. I would be okay with just the one drawer, less room to store random junk.
Yeah I'm okay with it
I love your enthusiasm
Thanks
Great tank. I have the grey one and made into a marine tank. Just upgraded the filter to the 407 and upgraded to the Fluval marine 3.0 light :)
Awesome I might do the same
It's the small details; the drilled bottom and attention to cable tidying that mean a lot.
Yup and the rounded polished edge to the glass. You nailed it
@@EverydayAquarist I forgot about the dressed edges. Yeah they've put some thought into this one hey.
Enjoy your new tank, looks like a belter.
That looks like an awesome tank. I have the Roma 200. I wanted the 240, but it was too big to fit. This will be perfect at 105cm length 👌👍
Yes it's a little shorter than most tanks this volume
I have 2 of them overall I’m happy with mine they was£660 each when I got mine but I c the price as gone up. A little tip about the sliding lids I thought if I had the shiny side down it would reflect the light down but after a couple of days the lids didn’t slide very good now with shiny side up they work perfectly
Wow lucky you. Thanks for the advice
Did anyone notice the cricket inside the cable holder packet lol poor fella lol.
Yeah wtf haha
I didn't haha
@@EverydayAquarist I had to rewind to double check haha. Didnt he run off wheb you opened it?
Dam it I just set up a 123l now I want this lol
Hi, great video; well done.
Could I ask two questions, 1, does the base require aquarium matting? 2. The hoses and other items for plumbing the filter are they in the box with the filter? Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions.
Where the hell'd that bug come from at 3:31?
Wow lol I didn't even notice haha
Is it a dual filter nozzle output to the tank? I am thinking maybe a circulation pump at opposite end to output to aid water circulation/oxygenation. Would the extra cable for the extra pump be able to make use of the cable tidy? Overall I really like this tank. I love fluval gear. I have a 307, aquasky, and just waiting delivery of their UVC Clarifier. Hope you do the next video soon. Like your presentation style!
Thanks, it's coming in the next week or so
Hello, watching your video this fluval aquarium caught my attention. Do you think it is easy to adapt an eheim filter? I have a 2178 with a built-in heater. Good videos.
Yes no problem
I have had this tank on my list. To turn into a reef tank
Would you like me to do that?
@@EverydayAquarist it's definitely worth a go. Especially being able to upgrade the lights easy enough down the road
We have one of these at work, the the 168 is nice too. But the 252 is the one I recommend because it's not much more and the lighting and filter is superior.
I myself have an aquaoak 340s. But this would have been a good alternative I like drilled aquariums or ones with sumps. The lighting on this one is pretty good. I like the Roma series too but the lid is not a material I like, so I would recommend the shaker range as they seem really solidly made.
Thanks great comment
I think the juwel is still better. Granted the filter isn't the best but its easy to add one
I took the paper off the bottom will this be a problem?
Do an update please when u have it set up can the output reach the top of the water? It’s In middle in ur video thanks
Will do, I'll probably have to modify it but I'll do a full setup video of it
I was tempted to buy this tank myself, but what put me off it is the fact theres no way to add another external filter without cutting through the hood. Wouldnt spend all that money to then have to saw through it.
Its a great looking cabinet and tank, but I do prefer a clear seal tank and cabinet over fluval.
Thanks for watching
@@EverydayAquarist ,no problem mate,I'm subscribed to your channel, keep up the great video's, always something intresting an informative to catch from you..🇬🇧👍👍👍
Nice but for small fish I was quite excited when I seen this new tank out but when I seen the dimensions I didn't like I would expect 3 draws to open and why can't they give you a 407 with it and I'm waiting for fluval to bring out a 350 or 400 drilled with an fx6 I think that would be fantastic
You could upgrade the stock filter I would imagine they would fit onto the existing fittings. However yes all draws opening would be good. I think fluval are trying to stay within a certain price point with their tanks. A larger setup would be nice
@@EverydayAquarist I am running the 307 on my roma 240 don't get me wrong it's a good filter I just added a sunsun 2000 to run alongside it, I know what you mean about price range and they want them to be able to fit in anyones living room but they need to get a big tank out there that same style in a 400 would be ace if I'm honest though I'm still considering getting this for a community setup can't make my mind up though, you'll have to show us when it's finished
What is a drilled aquarium?
Are all country’s giving it as standard with the fluval 307 I’m going to buy the 252 model ? I’d be looking to put two canisters one on each end
I'm not sure
Do you reckon you could get a 407 in the cabinet?
Yup
Thanks
Could you squeeze an FX4 inside the cabinet?
You might want to watch my longer review, but in short no
@@EverydayAquarist thank you. Any recommendations to upgrade from a 407?
@@EverydayAquarist would a second 406/7 go on the left hand side? Is the cable cut out of the top enough for the over tank hoses?
No it's pretty tight, No corner cut outs etc
Like people say the jewel are better but the filter is garbage the filter this comes with the 307 is a good external I have one
Do you mean jewel are better because of price or quality of tank/cabinets?
@@EverydayAquarist no fluval are because u get the 307 and it’s built in under canister fitting it’s a great tank cabinet the shaker
I love fluval but feel that’s a bit pricey, £700 for 250 litres 😂 I’d stick with Juwel can get the Rio 350 for a similar price
I think these compete with the aqua one oakstyle tanks and are around the same price
Really nice aquarium, ugly cabinet to be quite honest. I really don't like the look of the handles.
Thanks for your comment
I thought you were an independent creator so I suggested a video idea for an UV light that would fit out of site in the fluval 32.5gal tank. I saw that you deleted my comment and assume this one will be as well. Good luck goodbye.
Pardon? I haven't deleted any comments, maybe youtube auto removed it
