Here is my new Fluval shaker 252 planted tank. not 100% sure of what to do with it. I can almost guarantee this will be torn down and scaped again very soon.
I've ordered mine can't wait to get it and get going with a set up. How did you set up your filter. What are you using to cycle the tank. I'm thinking of using media and plants from other tanks.
The filter was set up using filter media from a separate fluval that I had running. So I used some media and have been using seachem stability and also prime with my water changes. :)
Just in the midst of cycling our Fluval Shaker 252. We have a planted setup with CO2 and we should be able to introduce our fish in another week or so. Do you find the filter outflow is a bit too strong for your angelfish or did you reduce the filter outflow on the 407? We have a single angelfish with a couple pearl gouramis and we are just a bit concerned about the outflow.

What was in the spray bottle you kept spraying on the tank during setup?
Hi Corey it was just water so that the plants didn't dry out during the set up.
You need way more plants
