I never thought about this storywise until now, but throughout the whole movie Morris Brown was the showtime band, and Dr. Lee was trying to make A&T the more technical band, show musicianship if you will. But Shaun and Devon convince him to go more entertaining, and while Morris Brown had the more technical battle, A&T won out because they chose the entertaining side they previous wouldn't have.
We didn't even think about that 🤯
I think A&T’s halftime show was better than Morris Browns. A&T took what they can do technically and made it entertaining.
