  • ED (Erectile Dysfunction and having pain? Here is what is going on and what you can do about it!
Having ED or performance issue in the bedroom? Is there also pain associated with erectile dysfunction? Chances are you've probably seen a urologist but so many men that I talk to have gone to three four maybe five urologists without significant help. So if you are having erectile dysfunction and you are having pain down there then this is the video for you. I'm Hina Sheth, an Orthopedic and pelvic floor physical therapist from Rebalance Physical Therapy in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and Mainline, Pennsylvanka and I actually did a Tedx talk on this exact same topic. First of all as far as age goes it does not matter. I have had young 17-year-old all the way up to 70 year olds that have these exact same symptoms. epididymitis type pain, prostate type pain and perineal tightness are just some of the sympotms that you might be experiencing. You might also be experiencing inability to have an ejaculation, pain post ejaculation. Some of you might have pain that last couple of hours but some of you may have pain that last for days. I know all of this is crazy scary and this is why you probably tried to look for help with the urologist but your still having sympmtoms. Other associated symptoms are bladder retention and frequency or constipation. So what is going on and what is causing this? The biggest culprit is a particular group of muscles called your pelvic floor located inside your pelvis. Pelvic floor muscles help with bladder, sexual function and bowel function. So if there is a problem with these muscles and they are not coordinating properly or if there are issues such as tightness or weakness issues then this can end up causing all sorts of dysfunction and many urologists may not fully understand what is going on down here because it's related to muscle. These muscles also work with many other muscles in and around the pelvis to function well. In my next video we go into a deep dive of why this happens and what you can do to treat yourself.

This sounds like it has to be what I have. The more my testicle and pain in the groin hurts I keep urinating over and over again and my perineal area feels like I am sitting on a plank even though the urologist said my prostate was fine. The pleasure feeling during sexual activity has pretty much been erased or diminished 99.5 percent.

I had a surgery, and I had rough catheterization during anesthesia. After that catheterization, my penis changed. It is like my penile muscles are weaken on the upside, but ureteral sponge tissue is full of scars. I have a feeling like I developed Peyronie's disease. My penis is curving toward stomach. Also I have ED. Can I get some advice what to do?

I have pain in my left testicle and my bladder area feels real round even though I am not fat at all and also it hurts on the left side of the base of the penis and pubic region. It does not hurt during ejaculation but I have almost no sensitivity or pleasure during intercourse or sexual activity and it is very hard to orgasm where the feeling is so difficult to initiate and then tries to drop off before the peak. Chronic pain and no sexual activity for 10 years. I have been to multiple urologist and they didn't find anything but I don't think they were trying very hard. Also the more I do physical work or exercise the fatter or more swollen I feel with more testicle pain. I even got a hernia surgery that didn't fix the problem which probably was unnecessary.

Gents! I have been disabled for 10+ yrs and am barely able to walk due to very weak pelvic floor muscles with urinary and bowel issues. I live with chronic pain from my floating ribs to my feet.
Come to find out I have a bulging disc L-4,5. It affects all of a man’s lower extremities. Just above my butt crack. Do you have pain there? Good luck.
