I'm just starting out , I've been to the canal and fished with success, taking my two young sons along .

Cracking video again. Ash seem's too really know his stuff very informative and some new stuff to think about iam definitely going to be using some hard baits more in the winter

Cracking video, loved that he tackles the “trace Vs Fluro” too. I’ve been blasted in the past for using trace when there’s pike in the area. It makes 100% sense to me. Learning curve on lure choice for me 👍
Choosing the right type of trace is important. Been put onto some really decent knotable stuff that will be in the next video! Cheers mate. Keep up the good work 🎥👍

You noticed on the mature big perch they have a set of teeth inside the upper lip if you pick one up bigger then a pound by its top lip bare fingers youll feel them digging in
Very fine teeth to help them hold onto their prey. Just love big perch 👌

Cracking video Nick i look forward to the Perch Masters a hell of a lot of tips the one i will be trying this winter is small crank baits, i know you have touched on this subject yourself in past videos i sort of give up on crank baits once winter turned up but deffo will try it.
Caught fish last winter on cranks even when it was really cold! Let me know how you get on! 👍

Hi Nick loving perch masters, I have a question about neds and the reggiez. Do the reggiez basically work the same was as a ned? In that if the reggiez work I don't need to buy the neds ( squrmz) as well or do the neds offer a different presentation to the reggiez?? Sorry forgot to say I am going for those big perch this winter! Done pike on lures the last two years to some success but I just love perch more.
I love a stick bait like the Squirmz on the Ned, fished slow. I fish the Reggiez in exactly the same way, but it just offers a different profile … which is sometimes enough on pressured venues to get the bites coming again! I hope that helps! 👍
@@Lifeonthebank answers my question perfectly, so I am better of having both squrmz and reggiez in my box as they both with have their day? 2nd easier question can you recommend a rod to look at as a all rounder, like to carry one set up as I have miles of river to cover so like to light as possible?
