Respect to this guy all ways a great help and the videos are informative and the methods work
Thanks for the kind words! 🙏
That ultralight rod is my favourite go to rod so glad I got it
Very informative. Tom rocks !
Great stuff! More please...
Always enjoy a new westin clip ;) 👏
Excellent video, very helpful thank you, tight lines
Hi Thom, great vid, most informative, keep them coming 👍
Superb masterclass….
Thanks for sharing 👍🎣💥
Great video
I always feel rude fishing right near someone's boat but I'm new to this so I don't know much 😂
Brilliant Video Thom and Westin keep them coming, what net are you using Thom
When are us tackle tarts getting the new Westin-Fishing carrier bag to weigh our perch ? Im being serious . Lmao .
New Westin weigh sling in small size is just out! Rubberised mesh on the bottom to drain water and perfect size for perch and small-medium Zander
Nice video! What’s with the keychain used on the landing net? That looks very handy thing to use with my Westin net. Thanks!
Any chance of a video or direct me to a link or a previous one - showing the braid flouro lure connections including knows swivels etc. ? I have knotable wire and fluro links but on the BFS/Light end whats best?
The gear is absolutely amazing and all my predator rods are now westin from my drop shot to heavy pike . Shame they don’t make reels as I would be all over them
Nice👍
Thanks thom as always videos are always spot on. I'm now starting to have more confidence letting the lure drop to the bottom but accepting the fact i will lose lures in the process but im deffo catching more fish rather than just doing straighr retrieves
Great video mate, can you please tell me what reel you are using?
What measuring mat are you using please?
Great, Informative video. I love the T&C range, I have been using a w3 7-21g for a couple of years now.
I’m thinking of getting the 2-10g one. Do you have a 1000 reel on it ? Knowing the rod I have (7-21g) I can use 21g without any problems I would think a little bit heavier wouldn’t be a problem either. Is this the case with the 2-10g also? Best Regards
Yes I like small reels for light lures, short distance casting. Some people like larger it’s really up to you. The 2-10g can probably throw a little more than 10g, but not too much more, that’s where your 7-21g comes in perfectly
Nice video Thom - which reel you are using in this video? Regards from czech republic 🙂
I think it’s a small Japanese reel, 1000 size is main thing I like for light fishing
Hej! Mvh
Hi there, yes Street Stick is great and one of our best sellers. Perfect for Perch, Trout, small pike etc 👍🏻
On 8’ rod yes I would go with 2500 size reel 👍🏻
which rod from the w6 series should I buy if I want to dropshot at distance and throw with 5 to 7 grams shets?
Hi Edwin! To be honest there are no rod specially made for long range dropshot but try the W6 Dropshot or W6 Finesse T&C 5-15 gram.
What knot is best for tying flurocarbon to jig heads please as I'm not sure
palomar knot :)
Hi, where is this canal? Close to which village? (I am from abroad so I am not to fish there but I want to loook in google maps). Thanks
Hi there, its near Leamington Spa town
Great video.
I do not like u handle fish with dry hands !! And then release
could you do this type of fishing from a wheelchair ?
Absolutely! And thanks to canal tow paths you should have good access, especially on venues like the one in this video on the Grand Union. Get out there and give it a go! Tight lines!
Never seen the “C” at the start of that title ……
