One of the most tasteful e36s on CZcams.
You took me into the E36 world, enjoyed every moment with my 'vert since I bought it a few weeks ago. Nothing like a pristine condition E36 with that metallic six-pot noise, also cornering with my 235/245rear tyres is awesome. Great content, great car, great everything :)

I know this is an older video, but if you’re coming across it for the first time like me, the only thing I would warn against on the metal propeller water pump is that you do need to check for bearing play failed bearings will cause metal to metal contact inside the engine and real damage. Just something to keep in mind.

Excellent video! You're getting better and better in every aspect concening CZcams but much more important doing stuff you love with the car you love. But I did want to commend your appreciation of the car once more.
Keep it up Gavin! I hope you'll post a bit more though, I rarely feel the warmth around my heart watching anything else, car videos or not. Makes me happy, thanks for that. Even if it's 10min video of just driving through canyon without a word... If you have some time, do it.

Welcome to the channel man! Motor mounts are vorshlag, but I'm not sure who makes the poly trans mounts. They were already on the car when I bought it. Came with a new brace as well. I have a video all about the steering joint that might give you some more info if you're interested

ONE MOD I REAAAALLLY RECOMMEND YOU GET IS THE M50 INTAKE MANIFOLD, swaping it isnt hard, and you can ussaly get one for cheap from a junkyard (runners and manifold itself is a bit larger)
Hi Gavin. U a smart guy so will ask u question, im a bit confused about moding my m52b28, if u go the supercharger route are the "normal" power mods(manifold,headers,cai,cams) pointless or will they all add up with the supercharger?
Just an idea but maybe change the rims to 24" double spoke motorsports ? And even I hate fake carbon fiber wrapping the spoiler may look cool ?

I've just invested into one of these last week. Have yet to regret the purchase, can't wait to have my performance mods finished for it. Unfortunately it's a dark blue colour so I may get it sprayed matt grey. I'm also unable to lower it than stock due to Australias vehicle laws and road conditions

Hi! I have a e36 328is and I have the Depo angel eyes and also the Dinan carbon Fiber cold air intake, but when I put the angel eyes in, the housing was way bigger in the back, so now my dina intake doesn't fit, I was just wondering how you fit yours in with the halos and if you had any trouble with that?
Haha I had the same issue. Check out an old video from me called "tons of new parts to refresh the e36 m3" where the thumbnail image says "e36 nose job". I address that issue in the video 👌

Thanks man! I just wanted to make what I have work in the best way I could. If I spend any money buying more wheels they'll be aftermarket and hopefully a lot lighter than these contours. Love the look of them though!

Yeah I am. I'm pretty happy with the sound. If I went a different route I'd probably just have a custom one made. It's a lot cheaper lol.
Might I suggest Evans Waterless Coolant instead of standard coolant for your baby.
There are SO MANY benefits of it that you may need.
It's "waterless" so it doesn't build pressure in the system. The hoses last a LOT longer because they aren't expanding and contracting every time, and the radiator doesn't get stressed and crack ( even though you already upgraded that to Alum.) but the most important one is that stupid stock plastic reservoir catch can doesn't get pressurized, and significantly reduces the risk of it cracking.... which it will... (unless you do a Misimoto Alum Res can too) ,
It has a much higher boiling , and freezing ( since you are in Utah) point that standard coolant and it is reusable if you drain it out.... you can just put it right back in!
The downside is that it's expensive, like $60 a gallon, and you have to go through a procedure to clear out every drop of water in your current system before you put this stuff in. It is NOT mixable with H2o or standard coolant.
But it is SO much better for your cooling system than the usual stuff.
Highly recommended!
I put it in my Frankenstein E36 and the temp gauge needle might as well be painted on... it never moves! Its really good stuff, once you get over the sticker shock!

I can buy lens for e36 from eBay so the headlights look brand new. How do I protect them?? Plz give me more than 1 example I live in deserted area so the headlights lens get hazy.

any plans to make your engine euro spec? ie. individual throttle bodies
There are too many differences to make swapping parts over work. It would be cheaper and easier to swap the whole engine. Not really planning on that. If I want more power I'll turbo it
Yeah a lot of people go that route and it's a good choice. I personally just like the sounds and feel of turbos better.

UUC twin disc and flywheel. The car will eventually have a lot more power so I am just preparing for that.
