I love that I found a cheap and OK looking BMW E36. just one problem...It does not start..so need to fix that then I can take it on the road! It`s a beater, dailybeater, dailydrifter whatever.
Using Sony A6000 and Premiere pro on macbook pro computer.

I wish you a very good luck with the e36 325! And thats what I call a project car. You deserve much more subscribers! I recommend that the first mods u do are the steering, replace it with the 323 one, short throw shifter and a welded diff.

Starter either works or it doesn't really. Check both ground connections from car battery to chassis and from chassis to engine. The second one usually corrodes and can cause this. Also check if the + cable is tightly screwed to the starter. That battery isn't the best for M50 but it should start although Im not sure how cold it is there as its -20 where i live right now. It only has 530 CCA which isnt ideal....
Next thing to check is whether the crankshaft position sensor is good. That can cause no spark and no fuel condition

Fahre Films you could check starter chek brushes and another stuf in starter and check all cabels whitch are conected on starter and - cabel on chasis.

Thank God it's a e36 325 ;-) . Did you check if there is a spark on the plugs. If not it's the camshaft sensor, crank sensor or even the DME. The e36 is known for water damage in the DME compartment. Because the drain of the wiper box gets constipated with leafs and dirt. And the last cause can be the dme relais which is bad, but that's exceptional. Good luck , Dutch regards.

høres ut som det er for lite jording til motoren, ta en kabel ifra motoren til chassien for å se om det våkner litt mer til live, hadde det samme problemet med min e36 cab

try spraying a little bit of brake cleaner in the air intake, press it less then a second, if you will do too much the compression becomes too high which can lead to a blown engine.
take a look at the sparkplugs too, sounds like there is no egnition what so ever.
first look at the sparkplugs before you do anything else.

When you start up the e36 sounds like it has no power to start up the engine. Put the bigger battery and test. It should work.

most likely crankshaft sensor. starter motor is weak aswell. Battery is okay 62 Ah should be fine!

with no radiator? don't try to start it... I have an e36 and I had problems with the cooling system that led to an engine change... :(
Serjio Bucur it’s okey try starting it. It’s -15 outside. It will not overheat if it runs for 10 seconds. But when I get it to start and start driving it offcourse I need radiator 👍🏼😃

Think it needs din66 battery. Throwing starts will look awesome on e36. Is like to get a set of those for my m3 as a spare. Although I do love the staggered sunflower type. Look forward to seeing what you do.

No compression use the crashed e36 for its engine and transmission and plonk in in the car with a single turbo and a straight pipe exhaust and that puppy will growl

I think u have problem or with spark plugs or with fuel pump , sound like the fuel is not fired to start
Alex 22574 yes, no spark! Fuelpump is working, but I think crankshaft sensor will give me sparks 😊

I bought from my neighbour couple years ago who is the first owner, and since than car is in garage and i only drive during summer,but maybe 3-4 time a year. the model is the e30 325i, and it's in a pristine condition. But I live in serbia, and this model is not expensive here, but it's hard to find one with that engine,and even if you find one,its rusty and rotten

Fahre Films yes i know because you Said that ln the video but anyways u need one to fire up with no problem(because i had a 325 to and it needed to have a 70 amp one because until the next morning it gone flat) if you solved the fireing issue.
Du bør sjekke om du får nåkk volt og om pluggene faktisk gir spark. Siden du hører at motoren vrir rundt men du hører ikke at den prøver å tenne. Prøv starter fluid eller å sjekke om bensin pumpa faktisk funker

Probably should have watched all of the video before i commented,cause the engine sounds good, at the start a new fuel filter and a new battery,if it doesnt work,then new spark plugs.
