It's true what they say, if someone is overly jealous, it's because they maybe cheating either in heart or physically. Yet she was the only focus of my life. What I do to quell mine is to remind myself as her man, how much I Love her, I trust her 100%, and I am here to love her, trust her, provide for her and protect her. Hell yea! I was married to an extremely jealous woman for ten years and it was miserable! We could not even go to a restaurant if the waitress was too pretty! To hell with that! I have no tolerance for such petty behavior and the few times my Filipina displayed such BS I told her flat out she can go away and not come back if she has that attitude! But if they get totally unhinged, it is likely they have some serious issues in their baggage, like having been abused as a child. A psychologist told me such person would require years of therapy before acting normaly in a relationship. A bit of jealousy is tolerable. But if she goes bat shit crazy, end the relationship or you will BOTH be miserable and resentful in time.

Insecurity will drive someone away OR turn them into a liar real quick. The person on the opposite end of the jealousy will run or start to lie about the dumbest things out of fear of not triggering the person with a jealousy problem. Or, it could even drive the person to actual do what the jealous person suspects them of doing since they feel like the person jealous already suspects it or might even have accused them already. So, if you are already guilty regardless in that person's eyes then you might as well actually stray.
Life is way better when you aren't a jealous person. So much less tension and you aren't in a constant fight / flight mode.
I agree that insecurity is a terrible outcome of jealousy. Or rather it leads into those insecure issues that you first mentioned. Secondly, I think jealousy could still be essential in a relationship, or certain relationships. Of course there's many ways to get to certain levels of jealousy which arent healthy, but from the bottom line I believe jealousy is healthy in a relationship.

I hesitate to use the word 'insanity', but it's really the most appropriate word to describe it. It's a shame there's so much insecurity that while the belief I'm looking for somebody else can be at least suppressed for a few weeks up to a month, it still always comes back to the surface. I can only speak on behalf of Americans, but generally speaking, if we are with our girlfriends/wives, in a restaurant, bar, or night club, We’ll usually leave a nice or generous tip to our waiter/waitress, once we leave. This used to upset my Filipina gf, when I was in Cebu city, around two years ago. I would say ❤️Mahal❤️, I also tip the waiters, that doesn’t mean I’m gay, ha ha, joke lang. and I haven’t experienced it firsthand, but I hear that as foreigners, when we go to a Filipino couple’s house, I better not give my friend’s wife or gf a friendly hug. If my Filipino friend doesn’t beat me up, I’m probably gonna get beat up when I get home, from my Filipina gf, 😯😯😂😅. I have been online dating my filipina since not long after the pandemic started. I am meeting her later this month, because they finally opened tourism in the phils. Just about everything about her is great but yeah, boy is she jealous! I have a few female friends, not best friends but still close enough that we would hang out every so often. Now it's gotten to the point where I basically can't do that and all of my contact with them is just messaging, because my gf and I would surely argue about it
Normally, I dont make concessions like that but she is perfect in just about every other way. She also says that once we are together, she will feel more secure and won't be so jealous. I know enough to assume that she won't just completely change overnight as far as that goes but hopefully it will get to the point one day where I can hang out with all my friends and she will be there too and there won't be any problems.

They often have husbands, or BFs, and/or kids that they don't tell you about. Meet women once you're there - it's not hard as in the West, and you'll meet more quality women. But I've been with my gf for close to 2 years now. We constantly video call. I know everything about her and her family because I see her home life with my own eyes. I haven't experienced this with my fiancé', here in America, I do have female friends here, BUT, I'm planning to move to the Philippines. I have dealt with a jealous relationship here. In person, I definitely will NOT do ANYTHING that will make her jealous. I walk with a very strict code of my own behavior, so I doubt I will do anything that will bother her, plus I've been brutally honest with her from day 1. And, even here, I actually ONLY have eyes for her legitimately. I haven't really faced any temptation, because, I actually don't even like women here, but I would actually weigh the temptation to my current situation. I've experienced that before, and I've never encountered a woman I would risk my current relationship for.
