- A photo op montage tour of the inside of an abandoned Old Irish Farm House. Many items of furniture and personal belongings still remain inside the house.
Accompanying the photos is a customised sound collage soundtrack made from field recordings of Sheep, Cows, Horses, Bird song, firewood crackling and of course a Tractor, all providing an atmosphere of the Irish countryside and farm lands.
I discovered this house by complete accident and don't want to identify where it is so as to protect it's location. If by chance anyone watching who is related to the owners I would like them to know that the video is made with the full intention of complete respect to those passed or still living.
I bet that house could be made livable again!
Was once very clearly a very beautiful old farm house it's heartbreaking to see such places left abandoned and unloved. I myself come from a farming background etc (father's side) learnt farming etc from a very early age made the mistake of moving to a city as people do I'm definitely not a city living fan 💯% can't beat rural life farming a much nicer way of living nice peaceful relaxing and a lot less stressful. This is the first time I've come across your CZcams channel and i will be subscribing to it Anyway loved the video keep up the good work and continue to make and share your videos stay safe and well Godbless to you, myself and all the other good decent people
Many thanks for watching and leaving some positive and supportive feedback. It is indeed sad to see such houses abandoned and neglected. It was clearly once a wonderful and beautiful home full of life. Stay safe and stay well.
Excellent video! There are lots of exterior photos of buildings on the web but generally rare for a tour of the interior. Very interesting! If only that house could talk. I’m wondering how the house was constructed? Maybe wood with a cement-type covering? Thanks for sharing. I subscribed to your channel. 🙂
Many thanks for your positive feedback. This house was originally a smaller house with an extension built on. The house was constructed from stone and then rendered in plaster. I am sure this house played host to many interesting evenings and events, if indeed the walls could talk they would tell us all the stories it witnessed.
Aye, I have a wee bit of Irish in me, from somewhere down the line!
A fine solid house Robbie, such a shame.
Yeah Scut, this county is full of abandoned houses, I have another video compilation I am working on when it's loaded yuo'll see the amount of once fine family homes just left to rot, it's a shame.
Are you still doing photography? Because you are really good in it
